I replayed MGS again fairly recently and after about half an hour, I was immersed to such a degree that I didn't really pay any attention to the graphics.
Having said that, I won't snag a remake in a heartbeat, such a cool game.
I am absolutely gagging for more Bloodborne, it is far and away my favourite game on PS4, it might even beat out BioShock as my favourite ever game. I have even contemplated starting another PSN account just to go for the platinum trophy again, so for me, I cannit think of any game I want more than a B&B sequel.
I am not a multiplayer guy so this game isn't for me, but I have to say, I think it looks like a fab game to enjoy with your friends. Love the art style too and the lighting and water effects look incredible.
I am not sure that the 'Rare' name carries as much weight as it used to, with most of the key staff from Rare's hay day having moved on, nonetheless, this game looks like a winner to me.
Fingers crossed for some kind of trophy/achievement equivalent, that's something I really miss.
Nintendo's games are so generally so much fun and pack in such good gameplay that they could have really fun trophy lists for sure.
Funny how it's suddenly 'political' now we are shooting Americans instead of foreigners. Personally, I am not biased, I am happy to blast away at any in-game religious nutter regardless of their religious persuasion or nationality.
Really great post squire, while I am not having overheating issues my fan does get noisy now and then. I had no idea it was this easy to clean, fair play to Sony's design here, brilliant!
Thanks again fella 👍👍
People can undervalue the importance of exclusive games all they want, but it's no accident that Nintendo and Sony, two companies who focus a lot of energy and resources on exclusives, are smashing the competition, despite not having the best possible graphical fidelity.
In my opinion, the average gamer is more than happy with the graphical fidelity of the base consoles, let alone the mid gen upgrades. Moreover, the graphics on the Pro look fabulous and unless we are t...
I feel like they already used their biggest attractions to be honest, I have yet to pick up Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Mario v Rabidds so I still have some games I excited to play. Bayonetta is pre ordered as is Donkey Kong so lots to look forward too also, I just need to get the fabulous Monster Hunter World out of my system first 😂
I just have zero interest in Pokemon, I would love to see something out of left field like a re-imagined Kid Icarus or Gunsmoke, fra...
I really enjoy stealth games and personally found Thief to be a very decent game, I really enjoyed the world and mechanics, it made me feel like I was creeping around in the shadows.
I really love my Switch, it's a fabulous gaming machine, but to pose a question like this just demonstrates that the author and the site he represents have not got a clue when it comes to the industry they claim to have expertise in. What a thoroughly ridiculous rhetorical question to ask, seriously!
When will these cretins learn that treating the gaming community like morons is not going to attract an audience to their websites.
All a headline like this does is make me immediately ignore their article and inform me that I should ignore their opinions in future. It's so stupid because the game looks good and it doesn't need this kind of pathetic, flaimbait article to try and raise its profile.
I don't think it is particularly good looking, some of the likenesses are good but I feel like I can see the joins between the animations, like they dont flow into each other properly. Hard to explain I guess but it doesn't appear as fluid as other animation heavy games.
I would buy a remake of Fight Night 3 in a heartbeat, that was the last fighting game from EA that I really loved.
I have had Monster Hunter sat on my shelf for 5 days now and was in a similar position to you, I needed to wrap up a game before starting a new one. As it happens, I finished Yakuza 0 last night and flipping amazing it was too, to say I am excited for Monster Hunter tonight is an under statement!
I cannot wait to create my palicoe......looking to find a suitable name, I am thinking 'Cat Damon' 😁
I personally had no problem with the price, I paid £37 on the day of release and thoroughly enjoyed my 2 play throughs en route to my platinum trophy.
Was it a perfect game, of course not, but it was also never given a fair crack by the majority of 'journalists either.
I loved the universe and characters and would love to see a sequel.
Stories like this and the stories around the death of single player games demonstrate one thing to me, namely, that there are just so many games being released that it is difficult for the consumer base to support this amount of titles. As a result, relatively few titles make the mega bucks that justify the development costs.
I still buy physical copies of all my games and the reason is two fold. Personally, I am all about collecting games, I love my collection but the other major factor is the price. Here in the UK for example, I just bought Monster Hunter for £39 from my favourite online retailer, Shopto, who delivered the game a day early. If I contrast this with PSN or the Xbox Store, the game is full RRP and will remain that way for months.
As soon as we lose the video game retailer...
The sooner MS clear off from the console scene the happier I'll be. Never liked them or their practices before they got into the gaming industry and I don't like them or their practices now!
Congrats on the trophy, that is definitely one to be proud of squire!
I am with you 100 percent, I flipping loved this game. It was cool, quirky, funny, stupid and realistic all at the same time, honestly, very few games have made me feel as bad ass as this game did. And the rush of spotting a group of high level soldiers to go and kidnap was super addictive to me.
Crying wolf again huh, even if you announce a bunch, I will believe when the games are on the shelf at a retailers.
Being rude isn't going to endear you to the N4G audience, if you are rude here then what kind of community are you fostering on your own site?
