This is all spin as far as I am concerned.
If you want to argue that true backwards compatibility has been implemented, to the extent that it preserves the past, then every single title should be playable, not just a selection that MS deems worthwhile.
Don't get me wrong, it is a start and MS should be congratulated for what they are doing, but to say their consoles are backwards compatible in wholly inaccurate.
It's all about balance in my opinion. A console with no third party support will always struggle, like the WiiU for example.

I know I will get stick for this, but I honestly never saw the attraction with the Resistance titles, I thought they were good but nothing ground-breaking, I liked the third instalment the most. I recall a sequence in the 3rd game where hundreds of them are charging at you down a narrow street, it was really intense and genuinely brought a sense of panick I hadn't experienced in many shooters.
We get it, you will defend MS and their practices no matter how bad it gets but you need to realise that you are in the minority and most fans see right through MS's constant lying, spinning and moving of goalposts.
While enough fans like you enable them to get away with this they will continue on the same path, if you were a true fan you would hold them to account.

Finished God of War earlier today, utterly fantastic title, I enjoyed every minute...I have to go back to tie up 4 or 5 'loose ends' but need to take a breather having put so many hous in. GoW fully deserves the critical and commercial success it is enjoying presently, it is incredible.

The problem is, they don't have either box ticked to start with. The literally have no excuse for how piss poor their exclusive line up is, they simply refuse to invest in making games, they occasionally buy an exclusive but that's it.
I never said that all xbox fans are setting their expectations too high, but there is no question that MS and a sizable element of the Xbox community are desperately pushing this game as a AAA title as it is all they really have by way of exclusive titles.
I don't wish to rain on anyone's parade, the game look decent enough again for what it is, but it is nowhere near being a mainstream, big budget title that the Xbox needs.

Pretty sure it's locked until you beat the game for the first time chief. The hard difficulty that is available from the start will be plenty tough though, if you love tough games, God of War has you covered.

I got the plat on Bloodborne and have completed each of the Souls games multiple times, God of War is brutally hard, never going to play this on the hardest setting, I think it would be too much for me....I am getting old!
While the 360 started well, MS cocked up the last half of that systems lifecycle too with nothing but a rinse and repeat of the same 3 franchises over and over. That trend continued into this generation too, so I see no reason to believe anything will change next time around.
