I think it's also fair to acknowledge that there are plenty of people who actively dislike MS and the way they operate. Personally, I gave them a chance when they first entered the console market and was well happy with the OG Xbox, but the amount of issues I had with my 360's was unreal.

I returned my first one back to the shop within a week because it was locking up and it scratched my brand new Gears of War disk. Over the next 3 years I returned 4 consoles and ...

Typical response from an illiterate Kabaneri, I haven't labelled anyone (until now of course). You clearly haven't comprehended what was said old bean, I simply stated that, if you are insulted or upset at the negative portrayal of nazis in Wolfy 2, then you might want to ask yourself why.

It is interesting to me however, that people who lean to the right like to throw labels like 'leftist' around and take offence simply because someone enjoyed shooting fic...

I am not being contrarian here squire, but I never found them unbearably difficult personally, you just needed to be methodical. I would say I am an averagely good game player, maybe with more patience than some, but certainly I am not endowed with ninja like reflexes and I got so much satisfaction from all of the From Software games.

Agreed, I loved the gameplay, especially on the harder difficulties where firing your gun even once was a monumental decision. Without being big headed, I got so damn good on this game, luring out single enemies and dispatching them silently just never got old for me.

It is a game that favours this slow, methodical approach so I can see it being boring or frustrating if that isnt your cup of tea.

Having your own opinion is one thing, but this was an opportunity to discuss them, instead you just spew out some vitriol about a pretty beloved franchise without making any salient points.

No disrespect squire, but it could be that the games are simply that popular, they are utterly fantastic in my opinion (you can check out my trophies to check if I legitimately like them or not chief).

The fact that you perceived a game portraying nazis as evil as some sort of political slight against you tells me more about you than it does about the game.

I love Wolfy 2, except in respect of the difficulty, I'd have loved the opportunity to replay the game to go for the Platinum but it was the most difficult game I have played in years.

I paid £37 for it, so a little less that your average new release. I didn't mind as I adore Mario and love platformers in general but I can totally see why some of the commenters above are taking issue with Nintendo and their pricing strategies.

There is absolutely no doubt that Nintendo rip off their fanbase, whether it's the Pro Controller or any other peripherals, remastered games or the cost of their games which stubbornly remain at full RRP for years, I a...

I already own them all on PS4, but the idea of a neatly packaged collection is mighty tempting to me, I cannot resist my favourite series of games......I hope I will be too distracted by Sekiro 😃

They wont have a registered trade mark (for the Dpad that is) but they will more than likely have patent and/or copyright protection for the appearance of the Vita so even if he doesn't get in trouble for the illegal ROMs, he could still get in hot water for the appearance or functionality of the device itself.

Excellent news, I guess I can hold off on importing the game from Japan.

I am so excited for this game, I loved it 1st time around on PS3.

My most anticipated game of 2019 by a mile, even if The Last of Us 2 gets announced for this year I might still be more excited for Sekiro. I hope the E3 demo gets released soon, I'd be all over that!

Yup, this is my feeling with most of society these days. For example, whether its equality for all, Brexit if you live here in the UK or Trump in the US, the extremists on both sides make it impossible to have any kind of sensible dialog and will ignore facts that are staring them in the face rather than concede any ground to the side.

I still cling to the hope that the people on the extreme end of the spectrum are in the minority and simply shout loudest but I cannot help...

I agree, it's incredible just how much skill and ability some of these cosplayers have, this honestly looks to be like an official PR photoshoot by Sony or FromSoftware. If someone told me that these were from a Bloodborne movie I would believe it, fantastic stuff!

Websites should know to steer well clear of these kinds of subjects, you will never be able to have a conversation about it because of the entrenched and extreme position taken by both ends of the spectrum. Nobody is willing to listen to opinions different to their own anymore without the discussion ending in name calling.

For me, I think there is a discussion to be had about sexualisation of female characters and the effect that might have on female gamers, particularly w...

I actually liked my WiiU, I didn't own a Wii so got to own a whole bunch of great games across the Wii and WiiU library and when I look at them on my shelf, they make for a pretty great selection of titles.

I took a punt on the WiiU becoming quite a rare console in 25 years time given how few were manufactured and decided to buy quite a few of the bigger or more desirable games on the off chance they become somewhat collectible down the line.....you never know.

Yup, this is just a complete mis-representation of statistical information.

Games across all ecosystems, including digital only such as mobile phones and PC, generated billions while physical copies of software only accounted for 700+ million pounds.

A true reflection would be to determine perce stages of sales from platforms where physical copies were an option, specifically, home and handheld consoles.

I am sorry akbenny, I didn't realise we were acquainted, how else would you know what my intentions were or taste is games might be?

I am also not so sure what you mean by 'altruistic epiphany' either squire. Overall, I am not a fan of micro transactions at all, I am not so sure that this is an unusual stance; I think they are a negative element of modern gaming and I am concerned on their impact on the gaming industry, if that makes me altruistic then so be it...

If we are talking about the remaster I enjoyed the most it has to be Dark Souls, I flaming love that game.

If we are talking about amazing technological improvements then it has to be Shadow of the Colossus, that fame looked and sounded incredible.

You only get one chance to make a first impression, MS should have given Rare more time to make the game more feature packed and pulled back on implementing a design philosophy built around micro transactions. It's a shame as there was clearly real promise for this game too.
