I currently have an original Xbox1 but it hasn't been hooked up to my TV for years. I really want to play Cuphead but it was too much hassle to unplug one of my other games machines to play the one game I was interested in on Xbox1.

I only really play Switch in docked mode so, does anyone have an insight into how the Switch version (in docked mode) will stack up against the XB1 version in respect of resolution etc? Trying to work out whether I should just make the effo...

It was my biggest gripe with all of these games, from Anthem to Destiny to The Division (especially The Division), I hated how much damage the enemies took, it became so tedious and in The Division, immersion breaking.

The cosplay is excellent and the model is beautiful, but this is all about the photographer and editing for me. Fantastic stuff!

I think it was partly a response to criticism that the first 3 games were quite dark, brown and dingy in appearance. I personally liked Shadowfall a lot and though it got way more negativity than it deserved. As for the first three titles, I think they were fantastic. It's weird because the critics all seem quite negative about the series these days whereas the game playing public seem to really love them when you see comments sections like this one.

@Hardiman
Yeah, I had to take breaks in my search for a platinum on both Origins and currently in Odyssey but that doesn't diminish hiw great the games are, it's just that there is so much to see and do in these games.

@PSNinty
I couldn't disagree with you more, the last thing the franchise needs is a shoehorned multiplayer. If we are ever lucky enough to get a sequel it simply needs to deliver a longer, more complete story arc. The production values, writing, characters and universe were stellar, it just needed more time to polish the gameplay and nail its story.

I would probably agree with you although, to be fair, it got more flak than it deserved, I thought it was still a pretty decent game overall.

I know the series has a lot of people who knock it, but I have enjoyed every single title, I am currently at 80+ hours in AC: Odyssey and having a blast, well on my way to a platinum trophy.

It's not about the features, I have been using Steam since the beginning. I simply dislike any one company dictating the whole market, it certainly isnt good for the devs who are coughing up 30 percent of the sale to them.

Bring on some serious competition, it will lead to more profit for the devs and eventually lead to all service providers having to compete with each other and that in turn, that will lead to improved services for the consumer.

I personally would like to see Steam's stranglehold on PC gaming disappear and certainly would like to see more profit go to the developers of the games I enjoy.

The other issue I would predict with any EA acquisition is that the likes of FIFA and maybe even the NFL would look to take their licence agreements elsewhere if there was a sniff of EA limiting games to such a small audience as that of Microsoft's, when compared to the market as a whole; same with any Starwars license too I imagine.

I am pretty pleased at this decision as it was the one concern I had when the game was shown for the first time, I just didnt see myself relating to Deacon as he seemed quite a mean character and I always play my games as a 'goody' when possible.

I recall having the same concerns with regard to Arthur in RDR2 and he turned out go be a really fleshed out character, a rough diamond with a good streak, I hope I find the same with Deacon next month.

It is promising that Nintendo are being more open and transparent I think, they do seem to be modernising in respect of how they operate a little. Hopefully they make up some ground in respect of their network too, I am personally gagging for a trophy equivalent. With how much fun their games generally are, they could have really interesting and fun trophy lists.

Hmmmm, I dunno if I'd agree it's under rated chief, I seemed to do very well critically and it sold well too.

I swing from thinking it's great one day, to a bit average on another day. The one thing I have no doubt about, is that the art design of the characters and robots is great and the soundtrack is utterly incredible.

I think the word 'journalist' is thrown about willy nilly these days buddy, creators of most of these opinion pieces are nothing more than gamers offering their own take on a given game and certainly don't have the professional credentials to justify calling themselves a journalist.

Treat their opinion as you would anyone else who is claiming that the hundreds of others are wrong, and only they can offer a true insight; with a huge pinch of salt.

I am glad you like the game, really I am, but it is clear that the game has been pushed out the door as early on as is possible with the aim of building out the content later on. Nonetheless, I hope you continue to enjoy Anthem as well as the future content squire.

As somebody who grew up playing games throughout the 70s and 80s I was raised on games with poor technical performance so maybe I have a higher tolerance for frame rates/pacing, but I personally had zero compla...

So what makes your personal opinion any more valid than Foxtrot's? And, why did you feel the need to be so aggressive and rude about it?

It simply isnt good enough, and should not be justified by reviewers or consumers , for games to be released in an unfinished state. This kind of article just lets EA off the hook, I hope the game fails miserably, it's just a shame Bioware are caught up in this mess.

Would be pretty amazing if this rumour has any truth to it, I am gagging for yet another Naughty Dog masterpiece.

That's not to say that Sundet Overdrive wasn't terrific fun mind you, I loved that game.

How many times can one company repackage and resell the same product!! They give Konami a run for their money with the MGS series I reckon.
