I don't feel like the music in RDR2 has wowed me in the same way the 1st Red Dead did, I think GOW takes home mist of the categories it's listed in personally. No other game gripped me nor blew me away in the audio/visual categories in the way GoW did, incredible game.
Last one I played was Battlefield One, that's the secret buddy, don't burn yourself out on shooters, although, it is tough if it's a genre you love I suppose.
I'll catch you on the battlefield fella, I cannot wait either, I have always loved this series and have been gagging for a return to WW2 for a while. It looks like DICE delivered on their vision and the game strikes a nice balance between authenticity and gameplay, this is going to be great!
I assume he was referring to the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact where they Germany and Russia agreed to a non agression agreement (so Stalin thought) and also, to carve up Poland. Only when Hitler turned on Stalin did the Russians align themselves with the Allies.
He could have been more tactful in his statement, or at least a little more precise for sure. Ultimately, Russia featured in the original BF1942 on PC, I recall Kursk being a fantastic map in particular, so he simply c...
Thanks for your post squire, made me belly laugh for some reason, you are spot on!
What the hell are you talking about?
Has this guy not realised yet that their 'most powerful' bullshit only works (and then to a point) in the US?
The rest of the world and more than half of the American consumer prioritise things other than the power of the console, you know, things like exciting new exclusives which create a buzz and make you want to be a part of that zeitgeist.
Xbox turned their back on that 10 years ago, and the new studios they signed were, for the most part...
This is a really complex issue in my opinion.
On the one hand, I totally appreciate the concerns and more importantly the right, for the companies and people who made the games in the first place to control what happens to them. It is settled in the sphere of Trade Marks that not protecting your IP rights can have damaging effects and consequences for your Trade Mark registrations and future applications.
However, there are real issues surrounding the p...
God of War is certainly my favourite game of 2018, I am about 2/3 of the way through RDR2 and I am starting to fall off a little due to the amount of riding to distant mission markers, only to have to ride all the way back.
For me though, Bloodborne is still my favourite game on PS4, nothing else got it hooks into me quite like this game did.
@Butt
If MS (or anyone else for that matter) are struggling then it must be as a consequence of their business decisions, that is why I am not particularly perturbed by MS's poor commercial success this generation and why I am pleased to see Sony succeed at MS's expense.
It's not blind loyalty for me, Sony are in sync with what I personally consider important in a video game platform provider and that is a vital thing to understand. Sony, MS and Ninten...
I personally like to see Sony thrive because it demonstrates to them that the way they conduct themselves, the decisions they have taken and the path they chose in prioritising exclusive games is paying dividends.
That commercial success will then lead them to continue delivering in they way they have been.
It also sends a very clear message to the competition about what the game buying consumer values and wants.
MS have been piss poor for almost...
God of War demonstrated beautifully that you dont need an open world full of filler to impress; a smaller, richer more focused world will suffice if the gameplay, story and characters are strong.
Tsushima looks so promising, I cannot wait to play it, let's hope it's ready next year!
I am playing on Pro and it looks breathtaking, Rockstar nailed it in my opinion. It looks great on my son's base PS4 too.
Spidey was fabulous, but I think God of War is where competition for game of the year lies personally.
The word 'soccer' actually has British origins and was used extensively in the UK up until relatively recently.
Back when the rules were established it was known as 'Association Football' or 'ASSOC' and eventually became known as soccer.
More over, the finest sports game ever made uses the word and was made in the UK, Sensible Soccer 😁
I don't like the sexualized stuff personally Milkshake, I am not outraged by it, its just not my bag, but I do love Japanese media in general. I have my crunchyroll subscription which is quite niche in itself in the UK and I will happily play Danganrompa and the like till the cows come home. Catherine Full Body is up their with Sekiro as my most anticipated title for example.
I just feel that people aren't quite considering the whole picture, it's not as simpl...
This isn't about censorship, it's about Sony distancing itself from 'questionable' content, which is absolutely their right and in my opinion, understandable.
As for my 'fake moral outrage', you couldn't be further from the truth squire, I am not outraged in the slightest, I personally find the kind of content under discussion distasteful and frankly, quite childish and a bit creepy, but I don't spend my time worrying about it either. My poi...
Specialisation
*sexualisation
We all know the kind of sexual content Sony is concerned about, this isn't the kind of 'sexual themes' that we see in the likes of the Witcher or GTA, this is the portrayal of underage sex and the specialisation of children that is specific to Japanese media.
If you cannot understand why a company who's success is based predominantly in the West where underage sex is taboo, want to distance themselves from this kind of content then you really are over simpl...
A shite game rendered in 4K is still a shite game.
