I have been wanting to play Steep for a good while but there have always been other games ahead of it in my wishlist, I will defo give it a shot now I don't have to buy it.
I don't have a gold subscription so won't get to play Celeste, but that game high up my list of games I want to play in the next couple of months, seems like both offerings are pretty solid this month.

All of those things you listed have also been achieved by Sony yet they also released blockbuster exclusives every year too. You should be pissed that Xbox have done nothing for 7 or 8 years and are only now making moves.

As far as the multiplayer goes, I think it was so under appreciated personally, it was an exceptional game.
Personally I really liked each of the Killkzone games, I enjoyed the way they feel, weighty and authentic with very visceral gunplay.
Cannot wait for this game. I hope the Asian release comes with English subs so I can import it from Playasia like I did with PS3.
None of the games mentioned came with high expectations in the first place so I personally don't think they quality as most disappointing.
This might be unpopular, but my personal most disappointing game was Nino Kuni 2, I had high expectations but boy was that game a grind.
4 years ago he told me that my XB1 was going to get a x3 power boost from the cloud, that DirectX was going to boost the power of my XB1 and I was going to play on Hololense, perhaps 2019 will be the year they deliver these things; Spencer sure does like to talk.

Not content with earning billions, they are so damn greedy that they turn RDR2 into a horrible grind in order to elicit in-game purchases.
This is simply the case of a platform holder distancing themselves from what is some really ropey content that, while culturally acceptable domestically, would be impossible to defend in the rest of the world. If the media in the UK got a hold of one of these dodgy games they would have a field day and really, there is no defense fo Sony.

The best barometer for what the average game buying consumer feel is most important is looking at what is going on in the marketplace, Sony are utterly dominating their competition.
8 or 9 years ago you may have had a point, but PSN and the PS4 interface allow gamers to do everything they need to easily and effectively. You are way out of touch squire.
I think you will be okay for the time being squire, 4K is barely supported at the moment outside of gaming, I don't see 4K becoming the standard for the average consumer for the foreseeable future, I reckon 4K will need to become the standard for broadcast television before 8K sets become relevant and that's a long way off..
I am sure the game could be saved with enough effort, however, the damage to the game and Bethesda's reputation has been done. Fallout76 will never recover enough to hit the sales projections that the publisher probably expected.

Having played around 10 hours my feelings are that it is a really decent online shooter, I have really enjoyed it so far but I am still too distracted by the Red Dead 2 campaign to get fully stuck into BF5.
I should clarify RainSlacker, I am not suggesting Catherine has any dodgy content, merely that I can understand Sony looking to censor certain games. I think it's a shame when games get caught up in this that dont need to be, but there is no question that there are games out there that are creepy.
Actually squire, I play loads of Japanese games and have been a subscriber to Crunchyroll for years. I imported Catherine on my PS3 back in the day because I was so keen to play it so I assure you, I am not unfamiliar with Japanese culture.
Whether you like it or not, there is some creepy shit that finds its way into Japanese games and anime and the vast majority of gamers have no issue with a platform holder distancing themselves from that stuff.
Sony distancing themselves from paedo content is not going to be a problem for the overwhelming majority of their consumers, especially when they continue to deliver stellar exclusive after stellar exclusive.
There is definitely an echo chamber effect in places like N4G where a bunch of people who do want to play that creepy content think they speak for the mainstream gamer, guess what, barely anyone cares.
Who in their right mind would use Neir as the game to base these assertions on? The RPG elements was supuerbly implemented into that game and the game overall is simply brilliant.
My biggest frustration relates to a lack of anything similar to trophies or achievements, when you look at have much fun their games are I honestly think they could have the most fun trophy lists in gaming.
