I hear a lot of speculation that anything less than 'full backwards compatibility' on PS5 will be unacceptable, as if this is what MS are already offering. Of course, the fact is that MS don't offer full BC either at this point, instead they offer a selection of compatible titles as determined by MS.
BC will be nice, but there are a lot of other features I consider to be more important than this feature. A lack of BC sure hasn't slowed the success of PS4, ...
Still waiting for the power of my OG Xbox to be tripled via cloud implementation, I'd sure appreciate an update on the progress of this project from Phil Spencer, given he was the one who promoted it.
It's funny how people were down on Infamous Second Son when it launched 5 years ago saying it did nothing new for open world games and how they expected something new for next gen but blimey, it was certainly better looking and more advanced than this rubbish. Honestly, they'd have been better off remaking the original!
Even if you want to consider just the traversal, which was the most fun element of the original Crackdown, this looks terrible compared to somethin...
Wouldn't get your hopes up too much, it's generally regarded as a poor version of bomberman.
I haven't played RE2 so I cannot comment on which might be a 'better game' but, I think its difficult to have this specific discussion at this point.
There is a lot of buzz around this new release and as a result, in my opinion, it's difficult to set aside the excitement and be truly objective about Resi 2. I think it would be a fairer question to ask 6 months from now personally.
And as if by magic, here come the PC master race🙄

My most anticipated game of 2019, I honestly cannot wait. I am thinking of using a couple of days annual leave either side of a weekend and really getting stuck in😃
I must be honest, I don't quite get the streaming thing anyway, much prefer to play games than watch someone else......guess I am just an old fart🙄
My main issue with these types of streamers is the same one I have with some of the pathetic man babies who scream and shout, overreact, rage and destroy their peripherals on their streams; they just reinforce stereotypes that videogames are childish and aimed at prepubescent teens.
I want nothing more than mainstream acceptance of this medium that I love, in the same way movies and literature are accepted, but while this element are the ones who seemingly represent the in...
Quite crazy and kinda fun, but how the hell anyone watches the guy in that embedded video is beyond me, what an annoying voice and over reaction!
I try to remain balanced in my view, I recognise EA are a company and so want to maximise profit from their projects and I have also enjoyed some of their games in the recent past. However, it is becoming very difficult for me to ignore their behaviour and I am starting to think about boycotting their games, I realise it wont make a difference of course, but increasingly, I feel I don't want to support them.
I would imagine Disney cannot be happy with EA's mishandl...
Honestly, thank God for the likes of Easy Allies, at least they are genuinely excited about games. The likes of IGN are almost irrelevant these days, I feel like they are completely out of step with my own feelings on the industry and games in general.
The games couldn't be more different if you tried, what a pathetic comment.
I personally don't understand how anyone who watched the gameplay reveal trailer wouldn't be in awe of its visuals on both an artistic as well as a technical level, the game looked incredible. If by stylistically he is referring to gameplay, well again, what was shown was incredible especially by including a style of combat where sword play looked so authentic and brutal.
I guess there are always going to be these kind of people who just love to piss on people'...
5G will be rolling out in a relatively limited manner and won't offer coverage to those outside of major population centres within 2 years.
We are only starting to see broadband coverage becoming more ubiquitous but even then, it's still often offered only in bigger towns etc, if you live in more remote towns and villages you are still screwed.
5G will be a business option for the foreseeable, I just don't see domestic 5G being affordable fo...
I know this is the way the wind us blowing, sure. But there is no question that Sony seem more committed to Playstation as a console for the foreseeable future, because they recognise the infrastructure just isn't there for streaming yet. They also recognise that most 'core' gamers don't want a streaming service if it doesn't compare to the console of the day in respect of latency and visual/audio quality.
MS just want to move to subscription only opti...
Personally, I flipping loved MGS5, I got a good 100 hours or more out of that game.
Well, I see no reason whatsoever to purchase an xBox console if their vision is to make their handful of exclusives available on every device.
Even though the game is set in a time when they had no TM protection, Pinkerton still have intellectual property rights in play where Red Dead 2 is concerned; lets just say Pinkerton trade marks have a filing date of just 1 year ago (i know its much further back in reality), this game post dates that filing date and as such it is potentially infringing.
I guess the more interesting fact is Pinkertons role in American history and whether a company like R* is entitled to incl...

I also watched an interview back around 5 years ago where Spencer himself indicated that Xbox One performance would outstrip PS4 ...
