I reckon the consoles will be pretty comparable so success will be determined by brand loyalty and quality of 1st party titles. I see Sony running away with it again to be honest, based on what MS showed in respect of games again at E3 they simply cannot compete with the quality studios Sony have built up over the last 20 years.
That was pretty disappointing in my opinion, barely any gameplay of any kind and loads of time pitching their services instead.
The more people play Hollow Knight, the happier I will be, cannot stress how great that game is.
Having nearly completed NG+ in Sekiro, the gameplay in Fallen Order looked a little basic and bland in comparison I thought. I love Starwars though, and the game certainly isnt horrible, I am quite excited to play it overall.
Overall I am excited for the game and thought that it shows real potential, but I feel exactly the same about the protagonist, he seemed a little boring to me too.
Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 on Switch would make my E3 dreams come true.
Pretty desperate article in my opinion, if Xbox dont 'steal the show' then something has gone seriously wrong considering their main rival isntv even turning up.
I always think I'll go back and try this game, it looks like a really decent title. I just need to get by backlog under control and I'll get to it eventually.
They already confirmed they are not working on a Superman title. Gotta imagine someone out there is working on an Avengers title given the huge success of the movies, might be a good fit for Rocksteady?
I bought my XB1 after believing MS's 2015 E3 show and barely anything they showed or said came to fruition. I think I will be much more sceptical no matter how exciting their show appears this year.
I would agree that From Software are in their own league, they are fantastic, however, I thought the level design and atmosphere of Nioh was still pretty great and I particularly enjoyed the combat and boss battles.
Agreed, dudes track record for lies and spin is pretty well established at this stage.
A disagree.....my mistake, Makoto isn't my favourite after all, it seems.
Makoto is my personal fave, but this is still really cool.
I recently played Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon and I absolutely loved it, hoping the gameplay in RotN is just as good.
Yeah, let's hope it's the stream because that stuttering is pretty noticeable.
Judgement looks to be a gem, excited to give it a try. I hope it sees some success as I am keen to see these kind of titles continue to get western releases.
Nostalgia is a funny thing, in my experience, most games I held on a pedestal rarely hold up to scrutiny; that's not to say they are not still good games, uts simply that game development has moved on and improved. In this instance, I think the writers memories of FF7 will be just as tarnished by replaying the original as it would by playing a remake.
I really need to get my skates on and play The Surge, it is right up my street but I just never got around to it.
They will have yet another Halo and another Forza, it's the same stuff as 10+ years ago, I dont understand how you can blindly accept what MS are trying to sell when they have done nothing to earn it.
That conference showed great 3rd party titles but nothing to suggest MS are selling anything but services going forward.
