Gotta be honest, I'm not all OCD about talking to my friends if I'm watching a movie, playing a game they're not playing, or whatever. Maybe cuz I haven't really had that at my disposal like XBL users have.
My biggest thing would be making it easier for people to join a party in certain games.
if they get a Mozilla interface it would be even better. Pretty soon the PS3 box is going to be clogged with all the features/functionality (netflix, blu-ray, free online, PSN, Mozilla browser, Facebook, etc, etc).

Not me. I took until March 07 to get mine. I was really leaning to 360 because Gears just dropped my jaw when I first saw it but someone told me about this game called Killzone 2 and how it blows Gears out of the water. Also factored in the cost of 50 per over a lifetime of console ownership and my decision was made.

I love trophies/achievements. Thank you MS for bringing that to console games. It adds so much replayability to a game and is a great way to call BS on some people who allege to have done whatever. And like someone above said, getting certain plats/trophies is worth soooooo much more than getting others. A trophy that just takes time to get (like seriously or resistance 2's killing machine) isn't as rewarding as say one that just requires a lot of skill (like beating Killzone 2 on Elite). <...

Devs listened to the criticism, improved the game, but didn't change what people liked. Unfortunately I'm flat broke after buying like 3 games in the last month. I'd like to buy this but it may be a rental.
Sites/Mags like Eurogamer, Edge, and all the majors give your game AAA for almost nothing. I wouldn't even know what game was worth it and what wasn't. I played ODST and that wasn't a nine. Is this? Maybe, but you gotta think that if this were a PS exclusive the whole review would be how flawed the game is for having no story and sub-par visuals. Oh and lets not forget the whole coming out with a sequel so soon after the original.

Do any of us base a decision off of these comparisions? Who plays games like this anyway? I don't need a Lens of Truth to tell me whether one version is inferior over another. All that matters are noticable and substantial differences. The type that we don't need a lensoftruth exam...
but Sony is trying to match new feature with Live's touted new features. That's where Netflix and this come in. I doubt they're overlooking the things that the whole MS loving gaming world say make Live better than PSN even with price being a factor, but they'll get it when they can.

you couldn't even read a Sony article without someone bringing up the need to drop the price. Now it's all "we need cross-game chat and party chat." Truth be told, I guess I'd like an over-arching party system so getting together in games wasn't based solely on that particular game's ease of use, but it's not that big of a deal to me. Would I have taken that over Home? You bet. But I would've taken more avatars or custom avatars over home. Matter of fact, it's been a good minute now...
get a subscription service to tv shows/movies on the PSN video store. It's a little pricey now. Cheaper to go to Blockbuster actually. But allowing us to subscribe and download as many movies/shows as we want for say 9.99 a month would be great.
