I've seen more commercials for Uncharted 2 than any game in recent history. Okay, maybe not more than Halo 3 (that launch was everywhere) but it's pretty darn close. See what happens when you advertise Sony! If only your Killzone 2 commercials were equally clever. Anyway, good stuff, happy for Naughty Dog and everyone that got the game.
Anyone else still shocked at how much fun the multiplayer is? I can't stop playing it!
Are these numbers total losses are adding in their profits? How much has that division brought in? Is 4.7 billion breaking the bank? Gotta think having almost two decades of PS1 and PS2 really did a lot to help?

Live is not 100 bucks and I doubt it'll ever be that much. MS would essentially price themselves out of the market with that much a price. Even the most biased salesman/games journalist couldn't dance around 100 bucks being a ripoff. People are already questioning the value of Live at half that price.

Once the generation of 20 somethings that are gamers are in their 50's or 60's, games will be seen as entertainment and not the whipping boy of any social dilemma.
There are fat people that sit on the couch and watch TV all day just like there are fat people that sit on the couch and play games all day. If most gamers are overweight maybe it's because the country is overweight.
They've shown themselves to be the Developer of the Year IMO. 360 fanboys loved the whole Ghostbusters controversy and are just waiting to pounce all over the soon to be Bayonetta controversy but all PS3 owners have to point at is Uncharted 2. That's it. Argument over.
It can't be financially because MS has more money than...well they have a lot of effin money. Enough to throw good money after bad.
And I'm guessing they're not on shaky ground in the eyes of most 360 owners. I think 360 owners are loving Halo ODLC and looking forward to L4D 1 1/2 aka L4D 2. And look at the Modern Warfare pre-order numbers.

At 299.99 the system is a steal.
just would love to see one that really touts the system's free online. Maybe that'll come when they start advertising Netflix.
Oh, and how good is it to see Sony advertising again? I got so used to seeing 360 ads that seeing a PS3 logo was almost shocking.
Maybe have Kratos' back to us, with a slew of enemies bearing down on him and maybe a hint that all this is taking place on a Titan's back?

the weapons were great, the interface was very cool, and I felt the pacing was just fine. Also, the levels felt like real places. Resistance 2 the levels didn't feel like anywhere in particular and the game just lost its charm. Multiplayer was awesome and I loved the Coop but man did they miss the mark on the single player. Fire Bryan Intihar (the guy they hired from 1up for input on the games) and get someone in there that can take Resistance back to the first one while innovating some thing...
as much as I would've loved to have seen this guy do ODST numbers, I'm glad Sony and Guerilla had success with the game. I really think another strong marketing push (like what Uncharted 2 is getting) would do wonders for the game.
I don't think I've ever seen so much suspucion of the game media over things that aren't all that crazy. 8.9 is a great score, and the review process itself is arbitrary, but what the bleep was so significant that justified withholding a .01 of a point?
I'd want on PS3. I'd like Mass Effect 1 & 2 (and I may get my wish), Alan Wake looks cool but I can make do with Heavy Rain, and...ummmmm......I think that's it. I'm not into the motion control trend but if I were forced to choose between Natal and the Sony wand, I gotta choose having a peripheral as opposed to having none.
P.S...Rockstar North is tired of making GTA. Wants to do something new. That something is exclusive to the PS3. CHUPALO!
while its competitors try to copy what it was doing last gen. The thought of owning a batarang for Batman actually made my laugh. Thinking about owning night vision googles for MW2 was just stupid to me. But this, this I will buy.
