My 60gb launch sku with an upgraded 180gb still fetches a pretty penny.
KB is hilarious. It's funny but a lot of the stuff he said was true. Buttons are sorta critical for gaming. And the new PSP ads with the wise cracking kid look to be equally funny. C
It's going to be a great winter. I'll be getting Medal of Honor (looks sick!), this, and Reach.
Still a little bummed that Resistance 3 wasn't shown but there are plenty of games to fill the void and I hope Insomniac is taking the time to make something really special.
Kinect's price will make or break it. If priced cheap enough I can see some people getting it for the voice activation stuff and the motion control-ish way you can navigate the menus. But I'm not sure anyone is going to pay any significant amount of money to basically dance in front of their television.
and G4 conveniently crashes the day of the conference and now is telling me something about gerbils fixing the Sony press conference so here I am stuck with only the first 20 minutes of the conference via download off PSN.
Can someone tell me whether x-game chat or the free video rentals are included with PSN+? I read something about X-game chat being available for everyone. Is that true?

The show started off good. Granted, I thought it was sorta weak to make a 3rd party game your opening title, especially a 3rd party game that's surrounded with all the skepticism/controversy as the next COD. But whatever. Gears 4 player co-op, Reach, some exclusive from Crytek...ok. Not bad. Rising trailer looked okay but it didn't wow me.
Then...well it went from good to horrible. It was really hubris at it's finest. I guess MS knew that the audience was half asl...

granted, it wasn't a great showing. Okay, it was a very underwhelming showing. But to say they lost? I mean, we still have to see what Nintendo does. And who knows....Sony may devote a good 10 minutes to some little girl playing with a tiger while some car salesman sounding fitness guy talks about his fitness gam.....sorry, couldn't type the rest I was laughing so hard.

but I gotta agree. No price drop for the 360? (new model should've been 199.99). C'mon MS. You can't be the same price as the PS3. You just can't. And MS is already charging 50 bucks per year for online. That alone should allow them to sustain a 199.99 price point.

Not sure that I'd even buy MGS4 directors cut if the improvements were only an additional 6 hours of gameplay and trophies. Trophies should have been patched into MGS4 months (years?) ago and I think they got MGS4 right the first time around.
I was hoping he'd announce that his team is working on MGS5. Still holding out hope.
If anything, you want to package the Move with a PS3 that has a smaller drive so as to keep the price down as low as possible.
a part of me is a little nervous that the show might be devoted primarily to Move, but I can't see Sony doing that. I still think we hear Snake's voice at some point with Kojima coming on stage to announce MGS4.
I don't know what to expect from Sony this E3. Maybe after the leaks last year they decided to leak the majority of their annoucnements? What could they have left? Gameplay of Rockstar's Agent?
I dunno. Anyway, KZ2 is still, in my opinion, the most gorgeous FPS on any console. Looks like they refined that engine even further. I can't wait to test the controls. I want to see how much changed (or didn't) the aiming system. Can't wait for E3!
It's time for a reboot. I love the xmb but it's looking a little dated. There's gotta be a slicker way to navigate the system.
2 years? That's a good bit of time to not have a DMC game. I like that they took a break (hopefully they're taking this time to refine the game and get it back to what made it great), but 2 years is a little too long. Guess the effect of Bionic Commando and Dark Void are causing Capcom to take a good hard look at all the titles they plan on releasing. BTW, does anyone know how Lost Planet 2 did?
He knows how to get our attention. It's a skill really. If editors around the country were half as good as HHG at creating an eye-grabbing headline the newspaper business would not be in such dire straits.
As more and more families pick up a PS3 as their second console (probably because of the blu-ray capabilities), I think a major marketing blitz and Wii-ish software could help the Move do well. I already have a PS3eye and I'm not sure I'll be getting the move...at least not right away.
Regardless, with so many guaranteed exclusives coming out soon with who knows how many in development, along with all the exclusive beta love, ya gotta think the best has yet to come. ...
