I don't think MS could have a "bad" E3 showing because MS, more than any other company, knows how to put on a good show. Remember a few years back when FFXIII got annoucned as mult-plat? Remember how everyone went ape $h!t and declared MS the victor of E3? Go back and watch that press conference. Other than FFXIII they didn't show very much. It's the showmanship of the MS conferences that gets the press all in a tizzy. Whether it's Reggie Bush coming out on stage or ...
but it looks like I'll be picking up my first gamepro in years. Just started playing Killzone 2 again and man, that game holds up extremely well. Call me crazy but I think that's still the most graphically impressive game this gen with God of War 3 running a close second.
I forgot about that feature. I'd take that before x-game chat.
I hope Sony is smarter than that.
I'd get it but not for the cross game chat stuff. I just want 5-6 rentals included in the plan. But if they do include rentals won't they be competing with Netflix?
Killzone 3 and LBP2 annoucned before E3? They must want to devote the majority of the show to Insomniac again.
Japan. Maybe have a level in Tokyo with tons of NPCs walking around.
3rd party exclusives are going to become a thing of the past. I just hope this doesn't sidetrack them from delivering a great Resistance game.
That was the basis for my joke. It's one of the few Sony exclusives franchises that Edge really really enjoys. Someone's done the math breaking down the Edge reviews and it's overwhelming how harsh they grade Sony exclusives compared to 360 exclusives.
Was really hoping for a new Twisted Metal game...especially for the multiplayer component. Jaffe is still interesting enough to warrant attention but, I gotta be honest, I'm sorta meh on whatever he's making now. Time to shift focus to Man Furismo jive.
What's the title to this article? "Little Big Planet 2: A Sony exclusive that even we can't find a way to hate on."
and I'm happy. Killzone 2 was, and remains, one of my favorite games this gen. Can't wait to see what Guerilla does in terms of improving the engine, gameplay, and what new features they throw in this time (like co-op?)
inadvertently kicks a hole in his tv. Oh man, Natal and Move are going to be responsible for so many broken TVs, furniture, injuries to people, animals, etc.
because of the precedent it sets. What's "useless" to you may be essential to someone else. People don't like the idea of paying hundreds of dollars for something and then having a feature surreptitiously removed.
That's the danger of this online era of gaming. The idea of something like this happening in the NES days was insane. Now it's something we may all have to get used to.
Personally, I don't care about the removal of th...
but I just got Just Cause 2 and Super Street Fighter 2. I'm thinking of picking up two other games for the summer and their probably going to be Mod Nation and Demons Souls. It looks great though. Definitely something I'll pick up in about four-five months.
Avoid Geoff Keighley's twitter account in the days/weeks prior to E3. That guy will spoil the whole show for you. That's if you actually want to be surprised.
Actually, you can draft a TOS or agreement in a way that allows modifications to be made the agreement in the future and keep it in place.
For example, when Sony updates the TOS we usually get a system prompt informing us of the update. We then get a screen asking if we agree to the terms. The "we agree" part is key.
Sorry guys but businesses, and people, are the masters of their contracts. So long as it's not unconscionable or illegal, you ca...
on the terms of service and what it means to the consumer. Look at the Kindle controversy over Amazon's surreptitious deletion of two e-books off Kindle devices. There, consumers don't actually "own" the e-books they purchase. In fact, many of us might want to start thinking about what we really own in this digital age.
But as to Sony and the PS3, the terms of service are so broad that Sony is afforded a great deal of power in adding/removing ancillary func...
Love the fan service. Definite day one now. Has Spiderman and Venom been confirmed yet? Or maybe Adam Warlock with the gauntlet and Silver Surfer. Oh how about the fantastic four! God this game is going to be amazing!
The scores for this are really all over the place.
It seemed like Capcom had a handle on the PS3. Oh well, too many good games coming out in May. Now I just have to debate getting Mod Nation, Red Dead, or finally picking up Demon's Souls.
I don't see Sony paying money for an exclusive unless it's a major major franchise, e.g. Grand Theft Auto. Why pay for something that: 1) is an unknown game and; 2) is being developed by a dev that hasn't shown it can handle the PS3?
Nah, if anything I expect Sony to have R* come out on stage and announce not only Agent but GTA5 as PS3 exclusive. That's the more likely scenario if Sony is paying for exclusives.
Matter of fact, Agent is alrea...
