and I felt like such a douche for doing it. It was around the Holidays and this guy was buying a 360. I just had to tell him that if he waited until Black Friday he could get the 360 plus two games for the same price. Felt like an @$$ but he thanked me. The rep wasn't so happy.
@ above: You totally just described every Gamestop I've ever been too. Do they have a punked out girl with tats quota or something? Bubbles
Konami must be planning on doing something with it, no?
in God of War 3. No spoilers but there is a point where the brutality gets to a level you've never seen....hint for those that beat the game.
600,000 people bought this thing? I still don't see it as more than an oversized Ipod touch. It's not small enough to fit in your pocket or carry with you without fear of breaking it. They can tout the games all they want but the lack of anything other than touch controls really limits the thing as a gaming device. I live in NYC and I sometimes operate my Ipod in my pocket just because there are certain areas that you don't want to flash a 400 dollar device. That's not an option with this thi...
but why not just use real prices and dollars instead of the whole moon bucks thing? I know there are plenty of sites that do the conversion for you but why make everyone go through that? The 360s been out for about five years now and I still have no idea how much money 800 points is. I often see those XBL cards on Amazon's best sellers list and I have no idea if it's a deal or what.
Avatar on an gigantic Imax screen? On to the next one...
You're too old to drink or smoke while gaming yet you're teabagging people? Seems a little contradictory, no?
We all know it's Twisted Metal. He's even alluded to as much in past interviews. Heck, I think someone zoomed in on some doc he was holding which clearly stated Twisted Metal. Why the secrecy? A Twisted Metal online game would be highly anticipated.
God of War 3, Heavy Rain, GT5 are going to be tough competition. Yet and Still I see GameTrailers giving the award to............................ ............................... .........................Final Fantasy XIII!
Way to straddle the fence and avoid appearing biased...or so they think.
Seems like only people with an insane amount of disposable income or people that review games for a living complain about a drought.
I go to school full-time. I've barely had time to complete GOW3 while managing my school schedule. If you work full-time you're probably in the same boat.
This summer I plan on checking out DarkSiders, FFXIII, beating GOW3 on the harder difficulties, maybe checking out Just Cause 2, giving the GTA4 DLCs a look, playing some of the Fallo...
Sony is "finally winning" the console race so much as it's a matter of the PS3 finally being considered on par with the 360. The media, and seemingly the entire gaming world, turned on the PS3 the moment Sony dropped the price details at E3. Then came the "dearth" of games and the so called inferior online which all amounted to 360 being heralded the greatest thing since [insert cliche here] despite the hardware problems.
Sony's long-term vision and in-house ...
"I'm going to wait for some custom FW because I rarely go online with my PS3 anyway"
Seriously, I wish some of you would sell the PS3s you allegedly own and spend that money on some USB sticks for your 360. Or maybe a couple of years of online.
If you're really tight about this then you need only look to the hackers that took a feature and raised the potential for piracy on PS3 ala what we see on PSP. I'm surprised some of you are actually butt hurt over ...
sell high. Tis the MS motto.
Nothing is usurping the Wii. The PS3's price alone will never allow it to supplant the Wii. And MS found out that being cheaper than the Wii doesn't = outselling the Wii. Both MS and Sony are going to find out that these motion controller peripherals won't come even close to achieving Wii status.
Put it in it's proper context. Yeah, it's never going to be the same as browsing on a computer. But browsing on the PS3 allows me to download media like movies and music directly to my PS3 from places other than the PSN store, download wallpapers directly to the PS3, and when my old PC crashed I could at least access my bank account and email on my PS3.
Yes Heavy Rain is enjoyable even if you know who the killer is. Just as Lost would be enjoyable if you just started watching the old episodes now even though you know certain cast members are going to live.
for them to give us something in the update? Like maybe display the trophy of all your friends underneath their name?
Just curious.
but I'd sell those two games in a NY minute and pick up Fable II and something else....probably Mass Effect 2.
was the Neo Geo.
