that I'm hyped for Black Ops. Especially after MW2 made me question my hobby. Really hope Treyarch pulls through.
I'm not even worried about it. Insomniac was churning out good-very good games every two years. Now that they're on a 3 years schedule, and they have the advantage of years of hardware experience and access to ND and Guerilla, I'm sure they'll make something amazing.
Some studios act like they just turned 10, and meanwhile Polyphony is evolving racing simulation games on consoles. And who said 2010 didn't live up to the standards set? PS3 owners have had a heck of a year.
Then when this game flops, Square will have to take an honest look at itself rather than point to exclusivity.
Lets face it, many of us (me included) were holding out for ME2 on PS3. Other than Fallout I'm dying for a good RPG. Now we get ME2 and it's pretty safe to bet ME3. Oh and that character import stuff from ME1 would be cool, but at least I know I can import my char to ME3.
I was almost afraid Insomniac was going to cancel it. Can't wait to see what the game looks like and what new features they've added. Oh man...EFFING RESISTANCE 3!!!!!! I loved part 2 even though it feels like most of you hated it. Resistance, Mass Effect 2, and all those Sony exclusives...PS3 FTMFW!

I'm on a 1 year late plan with Madden. That means when Madden 11 comes out, I buy Madden 10. Just bought Madden 10 used off Amazon for 12 bucks. That's right, 12 bucks for a game that isn't much different from the 65 dollar product. Best part is that Amazon actually sent me a sealed brand-new version of the game. So now I don't have to pay anything to play online (even thought I had no intentions of playing online to begin with).

it's not like the last 2K basketball was turning heads. In fact, the game was about as buggy and glitchy as possible. And the online lagged like nobody's business.

if his strategy is to get gamers to watch his show then it's going to work. I doubt they'll show any new environments, but it would be nice to say the rumored jungle environment.
I think it's all to easy to nitpick a game like RDR while ignoring all the great things the game accomplished. Sure there were holes in the story and moments where I found myself wondering why the game is forcing me to take a course of action I'd rather not take. But I think this is just me wishing that there were more Fallout 3 like elements in the game. The fact that those things stood out like they did is just because the rest of the game was excellent. I remember HHG hyping the heck out of this a few months back. Looks like he was on the money.
And if you're reading this HHG, I would be more inclined to believe you when you say a game is going to be fire except that you make that statement about a good majority of the games you review.
