I was getting skeptical. With all the media guys--1up yours in particular--making statements like "it's not coming out", I almost started to feel the same way. And honestly, after trophies, in-game xmb, custom soundtracks...I'm kinda good with the PSN.
So yeah, this is a great sign. I know the usual people will kill home for not being absolutely perfect, but it could really be something special.
And if it stinks it's not like we're forced to use it.
If anyone is looking to get a 360 it looks like Circuit City is the place to go.
white fuzz and blue green tint? What are you talking about? You've probably never even played the great PS3 games. You're probably basing all this on early ports or maybe just plain old unfounded fanboyism.
And you're not screwed. The 360 is well known by devs. They'll still be able to make quality games on 360.
and with Sony's in-house games only getting better, it's a great time to be a PS3 owner.
and the fact that I own a PS3 makes the show all the easier. Son isn't a fanboy (don't get it twisted), but the truth is just that storage and standard hdd matter.
I like cheese :)
let the race to the platinum trophy begin!!
it's going to be a monster hit for Sony if advertised right.
I think they should make it playable at those PS3 kiosks in Gamestop, Wal-Mart, etc.
fool me once...well, you know that saying. I'm not buying any ports or anything done by a group of devs that don't have the real talent. Thanks for nothing.
and I admit that I may be biased but I'm just used to the Dual Shock design. The 360 controller isn't bad, it just isn't the DS.
Bubbles for you, my friend.
then that speaks volumes about the state of "American values."
but that's sorta waned off. Trophies will soon be wide-spread, custom soundtracks is here, in-game xmb, etc...I think I got the major things I wanted (still want to use a custom icon for my PSN avatar).
Don't get me wrong; when the Home beta is released I'll be amongst the first to download it. Until then, I'll sit back and watch like the rest of you.
BTW, the screens do look very good.
baby steps to eliminating the RROD forever. Now if all the other problems with the 360 could go away, they'd have a system as durable as the original Xbox.
it's got me pumped. Good stuff out of Naughty Dog. Can't wait to revisit this classic game.
I'm sure MS backed a dumptruck full of money to their office and they couldn't say no.
they give out high scores a lot.
But I think this game deserves it. Seems like Namco has a winner on its hands.
MS needs to do something to bolster it's in-house studios and adding Take 2 (Rockstar specifically) would be huge. Imagine GTA, Midnight Club, Bully, etc only for MS consoles. Would suck for me as a PS3 only owner BUT it would provide the incentive to bring people such as myself who may want to play the aforementioned games to the 360 (or the next console).
This may be too big a fish to try to catch though. MS might want to pick up some smaller studios first. E for Effort here. ...
Finally we get a Madden worth paying for. Can't wait.
especially when MS is going to be the cheapest system on the market. A kid could want a PS3 but talking a parent into spending the extra 200.00 bucks (talking the 199.99 MS sku and the 399.99 PS3 sku).
So no, I don't think MS is going to get destroyed nor do I think they'll have a bad holiday season. But, I do think Sony will become the system to own for those that have the funds to afford either of the two: MS and Sony.
