are getting a 360 this year. Parent is going to walk into the store to get a Wii and they're going to see the 360 for 50 bucks cheaper. Yeah, no Wii this or motion control but it's a console and it's in the price range for most people.

hooked on designing their home in the Sims? I remember how I'd tinker with the layout for hours and then move on to another room. I liken that to LBP in a way. I'm going to spend hours perfecting my level. I've already got some ideas on what I want to do. But the real star is going to get those levels from the guys that re-create Mario, Zelda, and who knows what else. Can you imagine a level where you move from Sonic to Earthworm Jim to Mario to Alterd Beasts? That's just one idea. Can't wait...

you do realize that less than 3 years from now FFXIII will be out EXCLUSIVELY on PS3 in Japan. 360 is going to overtake that?

the Japanese are biased against Western games and systems. The one time the West has a chance to sell them a system that's powerful, has a good catalog of games, and an online interface that's unparalleled is the time the system has hardware problems galore. Now I don't know if the Japanese are avoiding the 360 out of some bias against Western game companies or if it's just being a smart consumer and avoiding a system with hardware problems galore.

Thanks for the info. Doesn't seem like it would take more than one guy to do this but I'll trust Insomniac and just make do playing through the game sans trophies. At least I know R2 will have 'em for sure.

If you could play as the Flash then so could I and everyone else. WOuld sorta deflate the point of picking him, right? But if you create your own character with Flash-like powers, well then maybe it's not quite so bad.
And with Jim Lee on the project I doubt Bane will be lounging in the Bat Cave once the game is finalized. At least, i hope that's not the case.
It's not Heavy Rain or Killzone; it's an MMO. Do any of them look amazing? I think they're shooting for the lowest common denominator and not just PS3 and super computer owning PC types. Personally, I'm not interested in the game. I was hooked on WoW for almost a year and once I "shook the habit" I swore I'd never get sucked into an MMO again.
I saw the pic and read part of the headline and it just didn't make sense. "Can't be Superman or Batman in DC vs Mortal Kombat?" Now it makes sense but a different pic should be used.
