@the whoopieman
I don't think it's Rockstars fault. I don't think they're intentionally screwing anyone. The fact of the matter is, they make games that are hard to pull off. A world as big as Red deads (or GTA 4) that looks as good as it does without ever having to load is really impressive. I think what it comes down to is that their tech may run slightly better on the 360 architecture. Not to mention, this is barely true if at all. I got the 360 version and...
Well you completely missed the point of the article. He was merely pointing out that if MLG continues down the same path, any hopes of going main stream are going to get washed away.
Well thats just a false statement.
Not bullshots. Just how the game looks on a PC. Soo, bullshots in a way, but if the 360 was more powerful then those would likely be spot on.
On second thought, i wouldn't be surprised if there was some photoshop work (contrast etc.) in those.
I'd like more resistance in the thumbsticks. I know this will garner disagrees, but I much prefer the feel of the 360 controller for shooters. The dpad is way better on the ps3's controller though. Also, the buttons feel better.
Hmmm, I completely agree with you.
Launch day I saw 300k +, but since then Its been around 150k~ so... yeah I dont know. It is a beta so theres not a ton of variety. I enjoyed it but 2 maps can only take you so long. Then invasion came out which I don't like so... still two maps that I can play in game types that interest me.
"Well, he should have armed himself if he's going to decorate his saloon with my friend."
Clint Eastwood is the man.
Edit: Also, Full Metal Jacket is a great movie.
I'm surprised everyone is so bent out of shape about this. He could have said many things that are much much worse. He didn't shun video games, in a way he was pointing out the obvious. I've had my grades suffer from video games. I had to give myself a reality check, but it certainly happens.
Also, on a deeper note, he was pointing out the faults with the information age. Where entertainment and information is so easy to come by, it often gets abused.

Not sure what the disagrees are about, Lit Fuse does great work. So great even that Bioware scooped them up.
The only game in there that is 360 "only" is Mass Effect 2, which is also PC. So I think calling this list fanboyish ... is ... *takes of glasses*...fanboyish.
Its not like Gears 3 or Reach was in there. Ya know, there are things such as opinions that DO'NT stem from a predetermined position for or against one console. Honestly, there are people that really don't care.
Mines 1.65... wheres that put me? Maybe around Major General? Because Ill totally take being a 2star. Those guys make mucho bucks.
@ persistent
Every time someone talks about companies not being foolish I can't help but think of that ridiculous situation. A freaking rootkit?! Are you kidding me.
That said, I do agree with pretty much everything Alpha said.
@maka
I actually have not tried that out. I definitely think mouse is the way to go though so I need to try it.
@Sak
Very few console games actually run at 1080p. Im not saying I care, because my tv is only a 37" 720p anyway. But some people do like the better look of pc titles. Also, if you had your comp hooked up to your TV you could buy a controller (ps3 or 360) and use it with PC games on your TV from your comfy couch. Thats what a good friend of mine does. Personally I prefer the Keyboard / Mouse, but to each their own =)
Anyone else think its interesting to see the variances in the games 360 / ps3 users pick. Kinda solidifies that each console is for different crowds. Its not extreme, but fighting/action games seem to do better on ps3 (likely for the better d-pad also) while shooters do better on the 360 (I get the console shooters on my 360 because I like the joystick layout more).
@steve_o
While I agree that that online console gaming is still a small portion of the overall populace, I do think its worth noting the 3+ million people I saw on halo 3 at once when it launched. Live certainly isn't revolutionary but I do think it was a big step for console gaming to be able to compete somewhat with the multiplayer experience PC's have been offering for a long time.
Also, some people like the improved graphics quality and resolution of PC titles.
I think part of that is because this game also has a massive scope. So while the inside shots look good (maybe not great), outside in vast landscapes is where the WoW factor will come in. At least thats what Im hoping for. Either way, I think it would be a crime for me to not pick up a new id title when it launches.
I was talking to geno, enigma.
Also, I won't dispute your points since I hate watching sports in general.
