I completely agree with you. I still play gears 1 multiplayer quite a bit. Gears 2 multi... not so much.
Persuading people to learn or think is a noble cause if not for any agenda in particular. I can say I tend to agree with Maher and Stewart most the time, but if they are doing there job correctly (which I think they do well), then they are teaching people to even take what they say with a grain of salt also.
Well, I can say I didn't like LBP. Along with that, I haven't liked either of the Mario Galaxies. However, to say UC2 is overrated, thats a big "negative" in my opinion. That game deserved every bit of praise it got.
Would anyone even be complaining if the first game didn't have all three playable campaigns?! Times have changed since the first. To make a game as polished as the terran campaign in SC2 takes a good amount of time, unlike the originals campaigns which would take like two weeks to do now (yes that was an exaggeration, but you get the point).
Don't expect to go online an win if you are new. However, the great thing about starcraft is it's not to complex to pick up and have fun with if you aren't playing against veterans. Fighting computer opponents in skirmishes is a great way to get practice and with their 5 different difficulty settings you can get to know the game that way before going online.
Lol me too. I got offline at midnight to finally get some sleep, then while Im lying in bed Im thinking of strategies so I get back on at 1 and play till four. Long story short, work is a bit rough today.
Who's this rogue disagree artist?
Yeah i don't really get the PS Move malarkey articles. Why would you want it on move when your console supports KB/M. No offense, and the Minority Report feel would be cool, but those people would just get trounced by those using Keyboard and Mouse. SC2 has much more Micro Management than the first so the ability to just amass a huge army as your primary tactic won't get you very far at all in SC2.
What consoles do you have? As there are definitely some titles to pick up if you get a good PC and don't have a 360. Particularly Mass Effect. Also, if you're like me, you won't need many games for a bit while you soak up SC2.
Yuuuup, this review is a joke. I mean, its worth noting that the LAN support was taken out. But while Im playing the campaign and online is that going to make it a worse game? Not at all.
Wouldn't that make you a spelling nazi (or maybe not since dye is a word?!) But then if that were the case surely you would spell grammer as grammar.
Also, the reason Im commenting on yours is not to be a jerk, but because the whole "die" as "dye" thing seemed ridiculous to me to lol. Plus, I'm sure you can find a spelling/grammar error in here somewhere because I am a terrible speller.
Yeah, I didn't think the 60$ tag was stupid because Ive been playing so many console games lately. But, wth, lame. Granted I already bought it, and I love it, but still lame they hiked the price.

Jus sayin'
Also, I agree its lame for those of us who legitimately share games (like used to be possible) but studios aren't taking chances now I suppose.
Wait a minute, SC2 plays like starcraft 1, where do they get off? Also, if thats not your cup of tea, then thats cool. But how are people surprised that a sequel (to a game that many consider one of the best and most well balanced RTS to date) wouldn't completely overhaul the formula. Personally, I think they did a brilliant job. The single player is completely different than the firsts too.
@Feral
I agree with you there. I've never felt much of anything (cept maybe irritation) for the other characters in Halo. Save for Cortona, I like cortona, but thats it.
@Dark
Gears? Thats a pretty big one.
It means the chip consumes 20 percent more power (Watts) than nVidia initially said it would. Which is a big no no for a handheld since battery life is extremely important.
@Explosion
I didn't say it had a bad story. But it really boils down to the structure of any epic (again not a knock) what makes it good is that its an epic that takes place in a setting so well realized from our past. However, personally Im not prepared to put it in the realm of "greatest" narrative.
I disagree, The puzzles are fantastic the first time through. Of course you can run through it easily if you know what you're doing, but thats not the point. Everyone has there own tastes, and personally, I think 3 hours for 15 bucks is pretty on point. Especially when the art direction is great and the design work is top notch.
Edit: Also, i didnt actually click disagree (I prefer to note my disagrees with text)
It was a good list except for the part about locust having different attributes. In a competitive shooter nothing ruins the multi faster than having variable differences between players. Yes CoD has perks, but those are changeable on the fly. Giving randomly assigned teams different abilities would either imbalance or irritate players.
