Wait a second. After watching the Xbox side so intently I did the exact same thing for the PS3 side. I counted 4 hesitations in the time leading up to the 1st crash.
Perhaps it's not that superior after all.
I have seen more particles appear in accidents when playing on the 360.
I had to cover up the PS3 side to see em but they're there. The first noticeable one for me was just as the car is leaving the Junk Yard. The second most noticeable one occurs after the first crash as the vehicle hits the bottom of the first ramp.
I have the 360 version and the demo seemed pretty smooth to me so far. The game's not necessarily my cup of tea though. I'd rather play something more along the lines of Forza.
Is it just me or is this game little more than GTA or Crackdown without the ability to leave your car?
... Grand Theft Auto with better graphics and no getting out of the car, or, CrackDown with marginally better graphics and no getting out of the car, or the ability to scale buildings, or anything like that.
It's something that's been done before. With less to do.
Sony's selling demos, eh? I can see where they're making the money they're losing by lowering the price of the console.

as long as UC is a one trick pony it's not going to replace Tomb Raider. As a matter of fact, judging from the reviews I've seen so far, UC is a bit schizophrenic as far as trying to be all genres at once.

Kinda sad... but it reminds me of a story I saw on Digg the other day about a 4 year old who's mom had all these art critics fawning over the child's work as though it was made by a "true artiste".
I'm not saying Portal isn't a good game, but to read so much into it is a bit pretentious.
I've been looking at the Canadian price not budging every time the US price drops. I'm pretty much never going to buy this peripheral.
Basically this is only occurring to those people who bought the version of the game that doesn't come in a green box.

Actually, I am an Xbox owner and I believe that Sony does win in this respect. The instant that they allow a user to put their own content in their menu, they win.
Microsoft not only will not allow you to create your own content but they charge for themes that are little more than advertisements.

The original Xbox had Morrowind, the Kotor series, and Jade Empire.
The 360 has Oblivion, Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, and Enchanted Arms right now.
FallOut3, Fable 2, Infinite Undiscovery, Lost Odyssey, The Last Remnant, and Sacred 2 will all feel right at home on a nice cozy RPG friendly console.
Don't say that the 360 is not an RPG console. It's just not so.

For instance, the fact that you can't use the "Classic Controller" to play any GameCube games. The controller has all of the same buttons as the GameCube controller but for some reason I have to buy both of them. One so I can play the overpriced virtual console games and one so that I can play an older GameCube game.
Also, if I want to buy a second ...
