I think Turn 10 has done more innovation than cloning.
- a physics model that is more realistic than GT's.
- allowing the user to customize the appearance of the vehicle as well as the mechanical side of things.
- online community since the First iteration of the game.
- a tire squeal sound that doesn't make me want to drive rusty proctologist equipment into my ears.

...GT5 Prologue was released this year, yet it didn't win. And don't try to tell me that it's a "demo". Demos are free.
I have a sneaking suspicion that there aren't a lot of areas in the Middle East that have xmas lights up.

Duke Nukem 3D was never about graphics. It was about fun game play and attitude. Something that nobody has come close to reproducing.
They could have come out with scores of Duke Nukem games as long as they had the one liners, decent story, and good game play.

My biggest peeve with my PS2 was that I was only ever able to get the original WRC here in Canada. They never bothered to release any of the sequels (of which there were like 3 or 4).
I used to cry myself to sleep wishing I could play them. :P

I was attempting to make a link between this story and all the previous, "BioShock is coming to the PS3" stories that were the rage a few weeks ago.
As far as I'm concerned, if Mass Effect ends up on the PS3 I'm all for it. BioWare makes great games and if more people get to enjoy them on different systems, BioWare will earn more money.

... I picked up Halo3 when it came out but I cannot understand why this game is so popular.
I think it has something to do with my preference in games. Although I really enjoyed BioShock, I think my preference for FPS games is the PC.
I do enjoy Forza 2 more than any of the GT series that I'd owned previously (3 and 4). I think it has to do with the realistic physics.
...if everything looks better with these options on, why does Sony have them in the first place? I'm not trying to troll here. It just seems to me that if it looks better with these options on, why would Sony have them off by default? Why would they have an option at all that would make the video output look worse?
Is it to make the game look better on standard definition televisions?

Games based on movies will generally suck because the developer is more or less too lazy to come up with an idea for a game. They look for something that already has a following and then puts as little effort into making a game for it.
If they're too lazy to come up with their own idea for a game, why would you expect them to be able to make a good game at all?
