It seems this is the alternative to what Bethesda did when they put Oblivion out on the PS3. I guess you can either store stuff on the hard drive or you can put multiple copies of the textures on the disc.
First this message group is supposed to be about gaming only. Not console vs console.
Secondly seeing as you've already kicked the door open, GT5 is hardly a competitor for Forza 2. Forza has a physics engine that make GT5 seem like mario kart. I used to be a big GT fan. I owned a PS2. They kept toting it as a Simulator but when I played what I could of GT5 on the PS3 I was quite unimpressed compared to Forza2.
I'm sure if they put their brains into it they'll figure out a way to at least make the Forza2 tracks usable in Forza 3.
Sony game sells more than non-sony game in sonyland? OMGZ!!!
...why is this game such a big deal? Sure the graphics are nice but when I tried out the demo I couldn't help but mourn for the future of video games.
The controls are so repetitive and the game play itself incredibly boring. Sigh...
...this article failed to mention what I think Microsoft's biggest screw up with Vista was. That they should have only made a 64 bit version of Vista.
With more and more PCs coming out with 64 bit processors it seems that Vista would have been the prime step for a 64 bit only OS. The 64 bit version of Vista can still run 32 bit software but slightly slower. It would have made so much sense to make Vista a 64 bit only OS. Everyone likes XP anyway so anyone who wanted to stick with th...
Why would Blizzard pit a fantasy MMO up against a fantasy MMO? I can see them doing a StarCraft MMO as it would be a Science Fiction and wouldn't completely compete against World of Warcraft. Diablo pretty much would. I mean WoW even uses Diablo jokes.
...when I stop seeing old dudes playing chess in the library.
I'll think about being more responsible when...
... I see politicians who keep their promises instead of sending kids off to war for their own monetary gain.
...and just because the reporter screwed him or herself out of fun by getting married and having kids way too early doesn't mean I have to. :D
...is that the source worked on the Xbox. It doesn't say anything about the Xbox 360.
...because the Wii can only display 32x32 textures or something like that they'll have a ton of space left over on the disc.
It's kind of sad that Lucas Arts is pandering to the Wii crowd though. I'm guessing more copies will be sold on the Xbox360. Maybe even the PS3.
Now if they were making StarWars Yoga... they'd probably sell a lot on the Wii.
Unfortunately Hitler's devotion to the Catholic Church should not be taken into account so much as the Catholic Church's devotion to Hitler. The Catholic Church supported Hitler in the most disgusting ways. The reasons are obvious. He was taking out the competition and they loved it.
The point behind atheism isn't so much that you don't believe in anything. It's that you don't believe or have faith in a god.
Unfortunately too many religious people misunderstand this. They confuse belief or faith in a god with the the ability for someone to expect something to occur in a similar fashion if it has occurred that way in the past.
...as you cannot blame that which does not exist. God is just a manifestation of humanity's need to explain it's surroundings when it wanted explanations and needed comfort but did not have the ability to truly understand all that was required to be known to survive physically and mentally.
It should have simply been a stepping stone to be removed when were better capable of understanding the world we live in. Unfortunately we are now stuck with it. Religion is becoming about as use...
Mr. Boll will do anything but admit that he's pretty much talentless.
Religion is such a symbol of the want to be blind of what's actually occurring in the world. My favorite ironic comment in the bible refers to the "Blind leading the blind". :)
Nintendo wants to be the only one peeing in the talentless game pool.
They started it and now they're realizing that pretty much anyone can develop a casual game in a weekend.
If you were to ignore the reliability issues of the console, it is great. I am glad that I can pretty much get any game made for the Xbox if it comes out.
I had a PS2. I liked the console and a lot of the games that came out. Unfortunately there were a lot of titles that I wanted to play but I was unable to get them as Sony wouldn't release several UK titles in the US. At that point Sony lost my money.
This time around, I'm not sure if Sony is doing anything ...
There's nothing amazing about it. I have and the f'ing things lock up once every 2 days. Hell Windows is more reliable than that.
I think the Zune would be a good competitor for the iPod. Either Steve Jobs is afraid of competition or just too conceited in regards to what Microsoft is capable of.
Boycott the f'ers
...to say that this has nothing to do with the Playstation hardware is not entirely accurate. The reason that they're doing this is to ease up on the amount of reading that the Blu-Ray player needs to do. The Blu-Ray player (now I'm not sure why this is) has a access/read time. I'm not sure if this is because of the size of the discs or the way they built it. It just is. I have a theory that the laser shuttle might be geared differently to be more accurate as the system has to deal with ...
