PS3 camp wishes they could play Halo so bad that....
...someone will actually review how the game plays and compare it to how it looks on a different console. Seriously, when it comes to the bottom line, the appearance of the game will only slightly affect how it plays. As long as they get most of the detail and lighting done correctly and the frame rate is in an acceptable range the matter of how the game plays is what will count.
All that these articles are doing are feeding the insecurities of those to whom the game itself doesn't e...
Why wouldn't I?
For a while there, when I'd first heard about this whole issue I felt for the developers and I'd planned on purchasing all games new, even if I had to wait for the price to come down.
I just realized though that these developer/publishers recently added in game advertising and for some reason the price of the games hasn't gone down. What gives? In some instances the advertising fits the world and it's not so bad, but I have played games where the advertising is forced on you ...
It was developed by Rare (owned by MS). Originally published by Nintendo. If they can't come up with an agreement I'm guessing we won't ever see another version of the game.
Not that it would make much of a difference. It's ugly.... remember folks N64.
Run for the hills!!! I had a horrible vision of hundreds of characters swinging their weapons while shouting Hoo! Hoo! Hah!
1. It's a new intellectual property.
2. It allows gamers to design their own levels and share them.
The concept of letting the player design their own levels is not new. Old folks like me can probably remember the old days with the various construction sets that came out for home computers. The big thing is that this game will allow you to share your levels and play them with friends online. Simply awesome.
I don't know enough about the game to know if y...
that they're claiming that the new boxes, which clearly state that the Xbox has an HDMI port are containing Xboxes with no HDMI port.
Is that the case at your store or do you simply just have the old Xboxes in stock?
Maybe Microsoft just outsourced the entire design of the console and has no idea what's really going on with it.
1. The article doesn't mention the city, state, or the name of the store? It's simply known as, "Local Video Game Retailer", which exists, somewhere? Perhaps simply in the authors imagination.
2. "As of publishing time...". What? It's a blog. Last time I checked blogs weren't published... they're simply posted. Sounds to me like someone was trying to make their story seem official.
3. It's a comic book blog. Why would a store with news ...
...that I didn't have to buy one. If the HD-DVD was part of the console I'd obviously be a bit more miffed.
The only thing I'm truly saddened by is that Blu-Ray didn't go region free. HD-DVD had that going for it.
Totally inaccurate!! They forgot Fallout3 (PS3, Xbox 360) My vote for next best game of all time. :)
(I've been a Bethesda ho since Arena)
...I really liked the fact that HD-DVD was region free. Well maybe Sony will be nice and make Blu-Ray region free for us too. (fingers crossed)
...take my time and enjoy games. I guess some people just like being more competitive.
... that you can see the same thing on most television shows. There was nothing "shown". It wasn't pornography.
As for being marketed to kids. The game has a Mature rating. The main problem is that these "irrational" people making these remarks have no concept of what the video game market is these days. They don't realize that there are a ton of people in the 30-40 age range who play games and don't want to be fed Mario bubblegum anymore. They want more sub...
... in order to know which one of the choices you provided was "the Dark Side".
I guess I'll just have to add that to my "You know you're getting old when..." list. :)
My 360 must be defective because other than a few disc read errors, which were cleared up by using a disc lens cleaner, I haven't had any problems with it.
...Eidos pulled one of those Scientology scams where they pay their employees to purchase copies of the game.
No body is "winning" or "losing" this generation. All of the consoles are selling very well with the least expensive one in the lead. Most of the major devs are figuring out ways to develop games for both of the high-end platforms with only a few exclusives on either side.
This site has become less of a place to keep up with the latest news as it is simply a festering sore. All of you Console Patriots with your near illiterate trolling and flaming make me...
I hope Midway's kicking themselves for it.
"Should we do something with this doohickey?"
"Hell no! Let's put out another Mortal Kombat."
