...she probably believes herself to be a martyr of some sort.

Plus now she's getting publicity that she never would have otherwise.

The 1Up crew seem to be doing quite well as far as not letting publishers push them around. It's hard to trust anyone, but I like the fact that they stuck to their guns when Ubisoft, Midway and (I think EA sports) said they wouldn't be sending previews to them.

I'm glad those people are in the industry.

Unfortunately EA is loving DLC and Burnout Paradise, from what I can tell, already has tons of stuff on the disc just waiting to be unlocked. : /

Although the computer rpg started in the west, they became the most popular in Japan. (according to wiki). I mean the first Wizardry came out in 1981 on the Apple II.

The game became very popular in Japan and ended up with several sequels in Japan that never made it to North America.

In Western RPGs you are presented with a main story line to be completed, but you are not held to a specific sequence of events. You are permitted to explore the world in which your character exists. Yes.. your charcter. Most of the times in a Western RPG you are permitted to play the type of character that you want to. You can choose what that character's skills are and how the character advances the skills that he or she has.

In my limited experience with JRPGs I have fou...

Look, I'm as much against the whole troll/fanboy flame wars as the next guy but the sony fans posting on this page seem to be displaying some pretty mindless advertisement regurgitation.

Count the number of "Jump Outs" and "Play Beyonds" on this page. It's like hearing "Brains" in a zombie movie. Come on people. Raise your heads up. Think for yourselves. Stop being a media tool.

And before any Xbox fan starts to Rah Rah about th...

These consoles are about what you get to play games. The reason that HD-DVD didn't do well with the Xbox is because you had to buy the player separately. I'm sure that if an external Blu-Ray player came out for the 360 it would receive a luke warm reception very similar to the HD-DVD player.
You might think that an external Blu-Ray player would sell more than the HD-DVD seeing as it now has the majority of the movie industry behind it but on the flipside it would cost more than the H...

I think that like television it's best no to start your children on AVP movies so much as Sesame Street. There used to be a company called wrote kids games primarily. Unfortunately they were shut down.

Until I heard that EA is planning NOT to release the entire map that was shown earlier with the game.

They're planning on withholding a large chunk of the map and releasing it later as DLC. This DLC crap is getting out of control and EA is the worst company for it. I'm not going to get this game until I've heard exactly how much they end up giving us gamers in the "so-called" release.

EDIT: Actually I found the orignal map before they removed the sec...

... yay?

Come on people. Yes, the DS is an ideal platform for adventure games. Yes there are a lot of old adventure games out there that can be ported to the DS. There is however one big problem, anyone who is interested in adventure games has probably already played them.
Would it be so difficult to make some NEW adventure games to put on the DS?

It's sad but, other than teen angst filled blather, there isn't a whole lot to the stories that these games churn out. They tell the same story unendingly and each time the story is very shallow and immature.

No I don't think you'll be missing anything great from this game by not having this information. I do not believe they would be able to sell the game if it was truly incomplete.
This is another example of skewed information presentation to attempt to justify the ...

For any other game this would be called a "Pre-Order Bonus" but for some reason it's turned into. Microsoft Threatens you to pre-order.

Freaking sad. All of you.

I mean it's obvious that the Wii has won *gag* *cough* *dry heave*.

Everyone just stop playing your Xboxes and PS3s now! Just get over it and buy a Wii instead.

I have a question though... if they don't switch on the "advanced settings" for the PS3 why would they for the PC?

I'm pretty sure that most 3D PC games, when launched for the first time have a default resolution of 800x600 and the other settings are set to puke blurry. If they have no problems upping the detail etc on a PC game, why would they be adverse to changing the settings on a PS3?

Just a wee bit of hypocrisy running in the trenches of GT.
