.. I really wanted to. It's always looked so cool but I could never keep my vehicle boosted enough to stay in 1st... well that and the whole come to a complete stop when you hit a wall.
After the last few videos that were released when all the attention was on the whole lesbian scene, I'd lost all hope for the game. I'd figured if they were using that to hype the game, then the rest of it must be pretty uninteresting.
I was so wrong. I started playing it last night and it is a movie. You control your character and interact. The shooting is amazing. I have to agree about the inventory, it's a bit out of the way but that's the only problem I've found so far....
I'd like to see a statistic based on who likes the game and who doesn't compared to which console they're running the game on.
@heihoosilver: The game is awesome... but so is Mass Effect. I'm torn between the two as to which should get game of the year. :)

When you consider that the PS3 audience is smaller than that of the Xbox 360 and is primarily made up of JPRG fans it makes sense that they would develop it for a console on which there are a higher percentage of people who prefer the western style RPG.
That and of course the fact that as the article says, the Xbox is easier to develop for.
You can ask for anything.
This game has a lot more going for it than the reviewers are letting on. Everyone is too busy blowing Mario(I have no idea why) right now to give this game serious consideration.
Grandparents will buy this thinking they'll be getting their grandkids something nice.

The big draw behind WoW is it's accessibility. Anyone with any computer can run it. Anyone with any game skill can play it. It's not going to be dethroned for a long long time.
Using it as a paper weight? ;)

When the last headline came out saying this card was going to be an 8800 killer, I was thinking that it was a bit premature. I wish all the best for AMD/ATI. I'm just having flashbacks to the whole 3dfx tragedy.
The lighting is dynamic in the game based on cloud cover. If you watch the video you'll see that at times the lighting looks brighter on the PS3 than the 360 and at other times it's the other way round.
It's an awesome thing they've done with this game. I hope that it's possible to just roam around and explore the city. I'm thinking that's where I'll have the most fun. :)
Of course the videos are at 1/4 of their normal resolution. The site actually does say that the PS3 version does look sharper. I have noticed this on several games. Sometimes it's just chalked up to less anti-aliasing in the PS3 versions of games. I haven't seen either version up front though so I can't say what the case is for this particular game.

Compared with games like Forza this game is a joke as far as vehicle handling is concerned. I wish EA would try a bit more Sim and bit less Arcade.
I didn't think it was possible, but it's true. There are very few people in Japan who will buy anything foreign. Samsung recently realised this and have stopped selling any product in Japan simply because there are so many people who won't buy from out of the country.
I can see why this is as far as the Automotive industry is concerned, (American auto makers couldn't design a quality compact car to save their lives), but when it comes to consoles, it surprising how few people...
