My 360 has never gone belly up. If it does I'll seriously consider buying a PS3 but at the moment I've got no reason to complain. The 360 has a great selection of titles, the controller is one of the most comfortable I've ever used and Live is pretty sweet.
The first time I'd read, "Discovery to make mature-themed games."
I was kind of confused.
Did you even read the article?
They simply said that Nintendo did not publicly proclaim that it was doing anything above and beyond what the European standard requires.
I'm happy to see more and more adventure style games showing up on the DS. I hope that more show up in the future!

Because of gamer points I've found that I stick with games much longer than I did prior to their existence.
Depending on the way the achievements are given to the gamer, it can cause the gamer to pay particular attention to aspects of the game that aren't apparent from the get go.
Hoo Hoo Hah. (repeat)
I'm pretty sure there's no specific age group for whom gaming is not OK for. I'm the youngest kid in my family at 35 yrs. All of my siblings game. We've been having LAN parties since Doom was around and I don't think any of us are ready to quit any time soon.
I can understand the wish to boycott games that have low frame rates or chug issues. In the same vein most people will do that with games that come out anyway.
When game reviewers state that a game has poor frame rates, most people will end up staying away from a particular title anyway. It usually doesn't require a "boycott", simple buyer common sense will hold true. We just need more people to pay attention to reviews and we need more reviewers to be critical of t...
I'm not saying you should buy anything. I'm just saying you have a system that people are developing for but not having an easy time of it.
Unfortunately there is a coin with two sides. On the one side there are people who are developing games solely for the PS3 which has its own unique architecture. These games, as far as I know, run fine.
On the other side of the coin there are games that are being developed for the 360 or the PC who's architecture the 360 is very ...
The game that's being developed exclusively for the PS3?
If you want fewer companies to bother putting software out for the PS3, boycott anyone who has problems developing games for the system. That'll show them. It's not like these companies say... screw it... we're paying these employees to work on this software .... but we want to pay them for no reason... tell them to take their time working on their project so we can postpone making any money off of it.
In summary. If anyone has problems writing software for the PS3, make sur...
