I love Apple through and through, and I own a 160GB iPod, but the Zune is better IMO. Upgradable SW is a big plus, FM radio with the ability to tag songs for download, better screen, Zune pass....but the best feature is Wi-Fi. If it worked on a mac/iTunes, I would get it, but I keeps my music on my Mac side of my dual-boot.

Gears actually has a lot to do with the 360's internal design believe it or not. MS was planning to have only 256MB of VRAM available, but Cliffy B. showed MS what they could do with that extra RAM and the rest is history.
Gears is very closely tied to the 360 itself, almost as much as Halo. Im pretty sure MS has a deal with Epic on Gears, especially since they publish the title.

GT is too in-depth a racer for me nowadays, but I have very fond memories of first getting GT. I must have read the manual (there were TWO) a dozen times to get the mechanics right...damn Skip Barber training. My fave ride was the Mitsu GTO...learning how to tune for 1/4 miles and everything. Good times.

IE sucks....Im a Mac user so there is no IE for me anyhow...lol. But I do have a dual-boot for XP...where I use FF or Chrome. But IE is still needed for some sites.
On Mac, its usually FF, but also Safari and Camino is nice too. I find Opera to be quirky...tho it does have an integrated torrent downloader...
