but understand that time is an issue. all of things can be accomplished, but time is working against them at the moment.
And the internet argument is moot, Who with a nice HD setup and BR player DOESNT have a good net connection? I know far more people with no HD and broadband than the other way around. And 50 Mbit connections are coming soon.
With the economy at a downturn, expect less people ponying up for that HD set, let alone for the HD set AND a BR player. ...
Blu-Ray will enjoy relative success, but it probably wont be enough, since the BDA has positioned BD to be the successor to DVD, and it just wont happen.
There are far too many obstacles for BR to reach that goal, many obstacles DVD never had to worry about:
1. People need to buy HD sets; HD still isnt at 50% penetration yet, meaning you cant even sell to half the market
2. Priced higher than DVD
3. Looks considerably better only if u have a...
So many people on here will kill u for saying that, but I also agree that Halo 3 is one of the best lookers out there. Just look at the screen shots that people post from Halo 3...ridiculous. The HDR is STILL the best in any game yet, and it runs smooth as butter, with the best textures on any console game yet (IMHO).

Graphically between PS3 and 360 its a wash; both have great lookers that either side could claim as being 'the best'. As far as the future goes, both machines have plenty of potential.

I havent yet seen GOW 3 in action yet, but I honestly am sure it will be tha shiznit. Certain games just dont disappoint, and this is one of them.
If I didnt have a PS3 in my crib, then I would rent one just to play this game. One of the best stories, soundtracks, graphics (especially on PS2)...and of course KRATOS. I give credit where credit is due, and this is one helluva series.
