I couldnt see any logical reason why Sony would keep this 'locked' if the PS3 could do it already.
Perhaps they are working on some sort of emulation, but thats also pretty doubtful at this point. But if u treasure your PS2 library that much, you should still have your PS2. Of course not needing it would be easier, but its not the biggest of deals.
Not a 'game'? Thats one of the dumbest things I have heard on here. And this is N4G for chrissakes...
Life will be over as we know it. This will be the downfall of man...
So I agree you cant really complain too much about it. I think it sounds lame, so i havent bothered to try it myself. But thats me.
But of course Home has a big target on its back since it has been talked about for so long, expectations were there. Not me; I remember when Second Life first got popular. I tried it out, and immediately thought this will be the next huge thing, a virtual reality. Then I tried it again, and realized it was extremely boring. I just didnt get the...
I dont get that at all. NXE is the 360's OS, not an optional virtual world. Definitely no gimmick. The NXE update added functionality to GAMES directly with the HDD installs, and made socializing with your friends better with Party Chat. Not to mention Netflix, and just a much spiffier looking system.
XMB is really the counter to NXE, which is the same boring OS it was on PSP years ago. Changing your theme and icons has no effect on the actual OS itself. Its still clunky, ...
I have no clue.
But heres something funny...in America at least, according to VGChartz.com (a site some on here hate...well, because numbers are scary for some), Prince of Persia on PS3, their latest big title, is currently being outsold by Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (also Ubisoft) on 360.
So im a bit confused by these 'figures', and VOR said it best a few posts ago at 10.2
POP is selling better on 360. GRAW sells better on 360. Vegas 1 and 2 sell better on 360. Assassin's Creed sold be...
360 is doing better there than I thought. They will easily end up with 2 Million sales lifetime sales in Japan, possibly with 3 Million or more (who knows for sure).
But even 2 million will be a big number for MS; no American electronics or anything really do squat for sales in Japan (they do love Apple however), so thats good news for the Xbox brand.
And since the PS3 is going to obviously sell less units there than the PS2 did over its lifetime, and the 360 wi...
and you still have the game, you should contact MS/Take Two. Many times they will send you a free copy if you send them the ruined copy. Not saying its a guarantee, but I know people who did that with PS2/Xbox games before.
I meant to say MGS4 is better than SC: Double Agent, not Conviction.
I never saw that article, but I always figured it wasnt as simple as MS handing over a bag with a big '$' on it. But to hear some more of the details was interesting.
In a nutshell, MS was acting almost as a publisher in their deal. It wasnt as if Take Two already planned to drop the DLC, and MS swayed them to make it exclusive. Rather MS funded the development of the game in their own interests; it wouldnt of existed otherwise.
This isnt even FUD or bashing...its just plain stupid. I didnt have a 'good time' creating my PS3/360 gamertag, but its nothing to cry about.
And how the console would want to update Halo 3 is beyond me if it wasnt connected to LIVE. That makes no sense at all.
...at all about that statement. Even most multiplat games today run at better resolutions with AA on 360 vs PS3.
Even with K2, from what I have sen the animations look amazing, but beyond that I dont really see the big deal...not that it looks bad whatsoever, but it doesnt look as sharp as either Gears or COD, a common problem with PS3 games.
If you REALLY want to see some of the best graphics yet, check out the Riddick trailer for 360. Obviously, it wont get much ...
I dont about K2 "saving" the PS3, but it could sure help Sony's bottom line if it does exceptionally well. but thats a no-brainer.
One story that is much more relevant and important, and one I am surprised is not on here yet, is that Sony is now reporting a forecasted $2.93 billion loss for the fiscal year, as opposed the $1.12 Billion they originally stated. SCE accounted for $337 Million in losses; seems that its their TV sales that may be suffering the most.
...
Same here. I for one was bored with the MGS convoluted storyline...and once Splinter Cell came out, it just made MGS seem cartoony.
MGS 3 was much better, but again I couldnt get into the storyline. Will play MGS 4 when I get the chance however...i am sure that is better than SC: Conviction.
But its partly about what you like. SC is a Tom Clancy realistic game, with real weapons and gadgets, with realistic storylines and scenarios. While MGS is more SCI-FI, but d...
Obviously...jk
The last SC was good...not great though. But this game has always been an exclusive.
SC has always been an Xbox-centered game, so its no surprise. Cant wait for this one...perhaps the PS3 gets a later release
A new GTA game for $20? Thats a no-brainer. For those of u who dont like the game, oh well...me and millions of others will be happy on the other hand...
to last a lifetime. I think we all know whats going on by now, its just up to time to tell us at this point.
When u step back for a minute, you realize that there are some amazing games on all systems, with plenty on the way. So I personally am just gonna leave it at that, rather than repeating the same thing over and over everyday.
Shenanagins!! I call shenanagins!! Get your broom!!!
