Yeah I stream my music from my Mac to my 360 and I can change the music as I please, just like before.
One cool, little-talked about feature with the in-game custom soundtracks is you can use your 360 remote to skip tracks independently from the controller, regardless of whats going on in-game.
I dont really care. But if they havent yet stated a multiplat release, its prob not happening.
Also, since MS published the first game, Im pretty sure they have some sort of IP rights as far as the releases go. And just because EA buys out Bioware, it doesnt necessarily make those agreements null and void.
I hope everyone gets a chance to play ME though, because if its your type of game, it is a must play.
I just might if they drop the price to $299...or if someone I know sells me one for cheap (like my Wii). Im a gamer first and will buy it IF it seems like a good value to me at that point. My roommate has one in our living room, which I bought WipeOut HD for. But he is moving soon, so I might get one to fill the void. Ive already got a Wii and 360 though (and PSP), and I already have too many games to play as it is.
I have my beefs with Sony, but those go far back, before Pla...
Its great that many people are still out there playing their PS2's. There are still plenty of Xboxes playing Halo 2 online right now. Just like Im sure many people were still playing NES (and still are) after its time.
Dont get me wrong, GOW 2 is an awesome game, but as a PS3 owner (at that time), I would have been more pissed that it wasnt a PS3 game. Whats the point of upgrading if your still pouring money and resources into your cash cow? And thats partly what hurt the PS3...
Nice sales numbers...but where are your links?
But more importantly, since were taking PS3's disadvantages into consideration, lets look at the 360 as well.
Released while the last-gen was still going strong, and HDTV adoption was at an even lower level, with HDTV's being more expensive at that time. With only one console under its belt, it was definitely not the name brand that Playstation was.
Many PS3 sales on the other hand last year I believe were ...
The funny thing about HD DVD in particular is that since it was developed and owned by the DVD Forum (who owns the rights to DVD; member Toshiba is the biggest benefactor of licensing fees), it wasn't designed to supplant DVD in the way that BR is aiming to.
If anything Toshiba did lose some money, but on the other hand stalled the widespread adoption of BR, thereby boosting their DVD licensing revenues for years to come, which is REALLY what Sony (and the BDA) is after.

You seem to love to keep spouting off your ridiculous sales figures, with absolutely no facts to support them.
You say that the 360 sold 13 million in its first two years...being that its three years old, and now has 28 million in sales total...does that mean they sold 15 million consoles last year?
Its funny that this longevity stuff is even a point thats brought up. When the new systems come out, which they typically do every 5-6 years, the last systems immediately become OLD.
Now im going to assume that we are all gamers in here, and if you plan on upgrading every 10 years, then youre on the wrong site. That being said, it is cool that the PS2 still gets Madden and stuff like that, but you must be kidding me if any of you in here are STILL buying new PS2 games.
That sounds pretty damn cool, especially the whole file-updating feature. Thanks for the info!
Bubbles for you, my good man....
The SkyDrive from MS seems like the most attractive...the ability to access your HDD from your Windows-enabled phone is pretty hot stuff. MobileMe from Mac should let you do that with your iPhone.
The Gdrive sounds like it could also be cool, though I dont think most people will have a real need for it, especially with how cheap thumb drives are nowadays. Not to mention they dont rely on an internet connection.
But who knows? We shall see....
I was coming on here to state my personal excitement about this game...but of course the first group of comments are all about 360. I think sometimes you guys write about the 360 more than you actually play your PS3's.
Anyhow, I for one am really looking forward to a new Kratos adventure, and will play this game, even if I have to rent a PS3 just to do so.
While I have my preferences, Im a gamer first, and GOW is easily one of the best gaming franchises ever.
I have been playing the wrong games...gotta go get that vision camera....lol
Show us more damn you! Nah, take your time and make a great game, we'll be here.
Ummm...Netflix anyone? Install FULL games to the HDD? Party chat? WHOLE NEW INTERFACE? Hahahahaha.....good one!
Im all for added functionality and all that good stuff, but 34 updates? Thats pretty ridiculous.
Lets not get silly here though folks, obviously its not a big deal. But when you have twice the updates as your closest competitor, and you have a newer console, thats saying something.
And speaking of Divx files, Im still surprised that Sony supports the format, since it only really good for...you know. 360 of course plays it too, but Sony, the creators of the much r...
Seems kinda cool, but you're probably better off just sticking with the Pro Duo memory. 8 GB should be more than enough for most people on a daily basis, since you of course backup all of your other...um "Game Files" on your PC/Mac anyhow.
What the hells are you talking about? At least get your facts straight. The 360 has surpassed the PS3 by at least 1 million units in Europe.
And Japan, which is not nearly as big a market as Europe or US, yes the PS3 is doing better there (big surprise!), but is getting utterly KILLED by the Wii there in comparison. And the 360 is already doing much better than its predecessor there...not to mention it actually OUTSOLD the PS3 there a number of weeks last year.

Some of u cant stand to give MS any credit....nope they didnt bring anything new to console gaming. Well, if you dont count pioneering online gaming, making great FPS's viable on consoles, custom in-game soundtracks, movie and show rentals, countless LIVE innovations, voice chat, HDD-based consoles, HD gaming....
@ Pirate Thom
Good job of listing the 360 features....in non-console formats. If anything you make the 360 seem that much more attractive.
@ Darkri...
Are you serious? You really want to paint MS as being arrogant over Sony? The same company that keeps losing market share on all fronts because of their arrogant pricing? The only things I ever hear MS state are FACTS; I have only seen them either say something in repsonse to Sony, or give a statement about their sales numbers in comparison to Sony.
You get me ONE statement from Greenberg (or anyone at MS or Nintendo) thats even remotely as arrogant as "The next-gen start...
I actually like the avatars...its not like you sit there staring at the thing. The coolest feature about it to me is when you check your friends list and its now represented by avatars with a logo of what they are playing or doing. IM not sure what the author is talking about, but most avatars I have seen look like the people I know, in a funny way of course. Though I will admit my Wii avatar looks a bit more like me....but his fashion sense is lacking...lol.
Keflings is also ...
