Honestly, I haven't played either K2 or RE5 (downloading the demo now...), but from what I have seen they both look good. K2 has some really good animations, but Im not sold yet on its environment. I definitely would have to play through it to see how it varies things up.
RE5 I will give an honest opinion on after I play the demo later. But two pretty different games.

Sony cant claim any momentum until something actually creates it. K2 and the other exclusives are creating plenty of hype and expectations, but thats not momentum.

Achievements are 'better' if you will simply because they have been implemented from the beginning. Besides that, it just comes down to preference.
As far as rewards for achievements/trophies go, you cant do that because people could find a way to cheat to pump up their gamerscore (which they do) and would cause all sorts of problems....

What also makes emulation purely based on SW difficult for the PS3 is the CELL. Being that is such a departure from Intel/PowerPC based processors, huge amounts of code would have to re-written just for the CELL, and thats just not a good business proposal for them right now.
One thing they could MAYBE do...let u hook up your PS2 to your PS3 via U...

Did I say something untrue? If the 360 carves out a bigger install base in Japan, and the PS3 sells less PS3's there than it did PS2's, then that means MS cut into their market share.

And of course, since its a Halo-based RTS, I already have knowledge of the world they are using, which makes it that much more interesting.
wouldn't we all rather not talk about this stinker? This game, Fracture, Jericho, Timekill (or whatever that time-shifting game was called)...all mediocre shooters at best that just need to be put to sleep. At least they seem to be a step above Legendary and Turning Point, but with so many good games out there, why waste your time on this garbage?

Thats a pretty steep decline for the sales forecast. These are just predictions, but they do hold weight since these guys are the ones that report to investors, determining the value of Sony's stock.
I think the PS3 should do at least 4 million in US, probably more, especially if there is a price cut. Their 360 numbers for the year seem a bit sheepish...pretty sure the 360 will do at least 5 million in the US this year, probably more.
