If they push for the spencer philosophy I think it will have an impact. Phil sending a photo of the XBOX stage has a much deeper meaning here, like you have said, he's TEASING something. It is much more than just a tweet. The more you delve into his psychological profile, the more you see the big picture. An idea with the bone to blow the minds of gamers SUCKED bigtime.
It'll definitely rub people the wrong way, unless the console gaming industry conglomerate is br...
Polygon need to update their review. I think this more than makes up for the lack of coloured characters in the game.
Catalyst :P
yeah, X1 really has the advantage here. The problem is sci fi games never really work well on PS4. The aesthetic doesn' quite fit. When you think Sci fi, you always think XBOX, because of the logo design specifically. That's definitely the biggest draw.
Also, X1 has some untapped potential on the inside.
The ESRAM and cloud have the optimization potential for 2x memory and processing power of a PS4. This is TitanX graphics capabilities we are talking ...

The car engine and chassis shape represents a wonderful push against male supremacy. The fist fighting poses are not meant to show strong and strength, rather depraved nature of men. Why they fight like that with so much blood. If you lose all your blood you cannot first and foremost fight the fight of living, which is most beautiful life in nature of harmonious world.
For world is dark place and the weak must be equal, only then can we all live and love everyone in nature h...
@Ocsta
Couldn't resist xD
I'm sorry
Well, it'll be a fun gimmick. Won't convince anyone to buy an Occulus Rift. In light of Sony having Morpheus, this comes across as hilariously bad xD
However, for some, that litte gimmick might just mean some people buy an XBONE if they already have a rift and were going to get a console. Just knowing there's some kind of compatibility, even if they really don't know where it is.
Personally I wouldn't mind doing this from time to time, IF ...
Oh it'll catch on... eventually. Sooner or later we'll start seeing all this stuff :)
As a partner investor to your company, I fully agree with and endorse your statement.
Of all the prestigious companies, yours is most prestigious. Xiamen Finehope is leading figure in the illegal organ trafficking. I am proud to be stand with your company as investment partner.
This thing is being blown way out of proportion.
Maybe he simply wasn't that impressed by the trailer, and that's it. Not as a competing dev, but from the point of a gamer. Maybe he simply didn't find it very interesting.
He just made one tweet. One tweet, and you can't even tell what tone he's saying that in. Could be tongue in cheek, could be simply bored and unimpressed.
Depends on how they handle this. The game probably has to be the same across all platforms. Unless the next gen version is significantly different in things like player count, map size, physics, then you can be sure that it's going to hold the game back, no matter how much better it looks graphically.
This could be particularly bad for COD, a franchise in which even today the gunplay still has the feel from COD many years ago. They really need to overhaul the damn thi...
Wrong, WiiU sold maximum copies, but because of PC and especially PS4 and XBONE they had to downgrade the WiiU version. The WiiU sales are probably even higher, because nowadays people on that platform buy mostly digital copies.
This is really stupid.
That glitch is basically Geralt's sword hilt not reflecting in realtime. Instead it has a cubemap of the outside environment. He even goes on to say this and explain it.
Don't understand what the news is here lol. Every game does this.
No as in it is released by someone other than the one who was tinkering around with it on the forums.
From a couple of comparisons, it doesn't seem to have the full cutscene lighting as in there are differences between cutscene and this mod. People are saying that the graphics still change after cutscenes. Not sure if that is only in interiors or in general. If it is in general then this doesn't have the full effect. (Interiors have difference files to play around wit...
This one is released by someone else. It doesn't seem to have the full cutscene lighting.
yep, this actually fixes a ton of problems with the current lighting system. If we get it working for interiors it'll make a huge difference.
it does have some problems though.
The biggest one I can see is the draw distance is actually reduced now, with the fog being much more prevalent. Makes sense that they would do that during conversation cutscenes.
From what the modder can tell it's hardcoded into the cutscene lighting. Right now...
@wraith4912
So what they were showing earlier wasn't in game footage ? Please.
It was very much in game footage. The lighting, textures, water and other things were demonstrably downgraded significantly since then. The downgrade is a fact. Ofcourse, I'm not bashing CDPR here, it's not like they want to downgrade the game or anything.
Also, it still looks great, doesn't it ?
Still doesn't change the fact...
Well, you do have to remember that Skyrim has ENB. It adds a ton of high quality features, some of which you hardly see used in commercial games.
I just hope either CDPR release the redkit soon, otherwise it's really difficult to modify most stuff. Also, Boris said probably no ENB for Witcher 3 given it's dx11 and buggy, and he's already working on GTAV
Anyway, we'll have to wait and see, if the modkit is released at the right time, I have no...
What was so bad about Doom 3 ? It was a really good game. Maybe it wasn't really Doom, but how was Doom 3 bad ? It had a brilliantly designed campaign, even though it was more horror based. It did what it set out to do.
They had a good amount of player freedom and exploration within the SP campaign, and from a visual and audio standpoint, everything was spot on. Being able to pick up audio logs and messages etc on your PDA, using those to unlock weapon caches... brillia...
