So importing models and animations and sounds into UE4 then showing them off in a video is a bad thing ?
"come up with some original stuff"
What did the uploader do to warrant that response ?
He's not the one that wrote an article, or put it on n4g. Just so you know.
Don't know if you realize that the timed exclusivity only means a better game on each platform, as opposed to developing both together the whole time.
@uth11
Yeah, gameworks code for features that are optional and most AMD users won't run anyway.
it will definitely be impacted significantly by MGS V lol. It will probably still do fine though.
If you liked it, then it's great !
here on n4g, almost every review below 7 was either passed off as "clickbaiting", "bashing for no reason" "xbone fanboy" "conspiracy against PS4" "just because no multiplayer"
(none of which were actually true)
It's not just first party exclusives. Talk about the Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight.
Any review below 8 and it's the same damn thing. Ca...
Horizon was an exciting reveal... but thats it. What did they show exactly ? The only gameplay they showed was some combat with some scripted boss appearance at the end.
They didn't show any of the rpg gameplay, the open world etc etc. You can't say the game beats Fallout 4 or Uncharted 4 because of it's potential. You don't even know what its like for the most part. It could be a shitty game for all you know. Robo dinosaurs don't automatically make it an ...
It's Quantum Break by Remedy.
Anything that Remedy shows will be 'fu**king awesome'
:)
Remedy always make awesome games
WiiU backers will trust them to put it on the NX, provided the NX is powerful enough. It's just like them ditching xbox 360 and ps3 for the XBONE and PS4.
Look, they tried to optimize it, but it isn't working. The tyre model is apparently too heavy.
What sucks is the way they communicated earlier about the WiiU version. They have to be careful about what they say.
"WiiU version is looking good" "We just need time&quo...
1. its not kickstarter. Like most other people here, you haven't read the article, or even the other comments :/
It's called WMD - World of Mass Development, and it involves an investment like approach. People who pledged 50 pounds for pCars will now be getting back atleast 200 pounds. Depends on how the game sold. Majority of profits end up going back to the WMD members.
2. Good luck with what ? They're going to hit that goal easily. Not to ment...
so much ignorance. Good Lord, try reading the article next time, and educate yourself on the topic.
It's not kickstarter, it's WMD, which gives backers a share of the profits. Judging by how much pCars sold, every WiiU backer who put in 50 pounds gets back a few hundred pounds atleast.
"Personally I would be going down to their offices and demanding my money back"
See how this sounds so stupid now ?
1. LOL
2. it's not kickstarter
3. if pCars doesn't work on WiiU, why will second game work
:P
Well, still, if there is one thing you can criticize SMS for, it's misleading people into thinking the WiiU was handling it just fine. They should be careful with PR
You really can't tell the texture quality from a video like this lol
That doesn't have to mean moving away from Assassin's Creed, although that's nice once in a while.
People complain because most of the AC games since AC 2 have their core mechanics feel the same. Basic parkour, movement, and assassination. Not to mention that at this point, things like basic assassination are just plain boring. Ever since AC 2 it's been jump higher and farther, do air assassinations from 10 story buildings. Did you see the Syndicate gamepla...
Not kickstarter. They used their own crowdfunding platform called WMD - World of Mass Development
@Nick_The_Slick
It's common sense.
It was the majority of profits, the figure in my head was 70%, but probably around 60-70%, maybe less. Sorry, but that's already more than enough to invalidate mindless criticism for a second crowdfunding campaign
What if the ambition of the second game simply requires a lot more funding ? So it needs additional crowdfunding ? Did that ever occur to you ? because it's pretty obvious that's the case. ...
The rope launcher looks really fun. Also, I really like the scale of the buildings, same as Unity.
The majority of the profits didn't go to them. For those of you who don't know, which is basically all of you, this isn't kickstarter. It's WMD - World of Mass Development.
Backers don't just donate money. They invest in the game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but unless things have changed, the majority of the profits went back to the backers depending on how much they invested.
Yep. That basically completely invalidates "What about ...
"So what? Theres a good reason devs don't focus on that. Because they're is no point in it. "
What ? lol. Speak for yourself.
The ability to interact with each and every item and object is one of the major features of Bethesda games. It's the backbone of any Fallout or Elder Scrolls game. "Irrelevant details" xD. That's literally what gives a Bethesda game the level of interactivity that you'd expect. It's literall...
