Forza Apex wasn't broken.
It just depends on whether they do a rushed job, or take some time to put in the options PC gamers expect.
Well, it's definitely intentional and light hearted, so I kind of like it.
Will likely be significantly better this time. Remember that at the end of the day, Watch Dogs was a game that was ported to previous gen consoles as well. That says a lot to me.
Besides, something like The Division is so much more graphically advanced than Watch Dogs. Certainly, Watch Dogs 2 should be a significant improvement in some aspects.

Honestly, that was such a big part of the problem. It's so difficult to do a living, breathing open world to begin with. The issue with Watch Dogs is that they were directly going up against an open world dev that has 15+ years of experience behind it, and a lot of the systems are built and iterated on previous systems. Well, I only watched the walkthrough, but the story was brilliant to me. There's also a chance you didn't get what really happened, because it's not exactly blindingly obvious.
I don't know, maybe it's just because the way they handled time travel - the overall theme... really hooked me.
Even from the walkthrough though, there were definitely quite a few issues here and there. Simply not as high quality as something like Uncharted 4.

Completely new gameplay mechanics, being able to fly in space, land on a capital ship and walk around, do missions on different planets.
but no, people would rather have the same old run and shoot shallow COD, as long as it's set in the past ? That shows some silly and arbitrary priorities, rather than focusing on the game experience.
The setting looks great this time, it's light hearted and doesn't take itself too seriously (you shouldn't either lol)
That doesn't mean it's trying hard to be cool or something. Why not have 3d printed guns ? That makes so much sense, not to mention that it's something that can be done today. Why not have a weapon with a pool table ball ? The combat with it looked stylish, fast and fun. The parkour looked amazing too.

It had a ton of issues but it was still great
Well, games take a long time to make. Something like Infinite Warfare is probably around 3 year dev time. They can't just decide on a whim that they have to do a WW2 game because that's what people on the internet want now. They decided to go with space, and that's it. Space brings some very cool opportunities with it, and hopefully we'll see them capitalize on those.
Besides, for all you know there might be another COD game in early development right now ...
The best game ever made will always be a subjective thing. For some people TW3 can definitely be the best game ever played :)
Watch the trailer again. You'll notice that if there has been a downgrade it has already taken place.Some things have definitely been toned down from the reveal trailer.
