Not sure I like the sound of that "phased" approach. Still, I suppose it'd be cool if you bought one version of the game, then kept it up to date via DLC. Yes and no. you will be able to go online for coop all you want without issues, the problem is since nobody knows where this release came from, it could easily be "bad" and thus going online will get you banned eventually.
Some people just wait until the game is out in stores so they can verify it themselves, some people just don't care. Either way, there's nothing really stopping them.
If the game needed more than 7Gb, they'd use multiple disks. Capcom has done it plenty of times in the past.

However, I've yet to see a news post on the NEWER 360 games that DON'T work on modified 360s (well, unless they're really old). I can't find any news on it anywhere, but MLB09 and HAWX don't work on modified 360's yet. That's a ridiculous thing to say, if people could pirate on the PS3, they certainly would and in the same numbers that people pirate on the 360.
Besides, the 360 still sells as much software as the PS3, so Capcom haven't really lost much of anything.
Yeah, a flash cart will have any number of games on it (How many can you fit on an 8Gb SD Micro card? A LOT) with not stupid things sticking out or adding weight to the back of it.
I just want them to add compatibility to Timesplitters, I'll find the game myself if I have to.

I've given up on them adding trophies to regular ol' MGS4. There's going to be a subsistence version, there always is and now that trophies are mandatory, it's probably worth just waiting for that.
