It's a shame, the first (if you can call it that) game wasn't all that bad, it just came out at a time when we had a bunch of AWESOME FPS games to play.

IT does have an online system, it's just horrible. My friend and I tried playing a game of Mario Kart and spent about 20mins just looking for a single game. When we got it, it was terribly laggy.

The PS3 DESERVES a second place over the Wii here, but I guess sheer numbers won out in this case.

My 360 has 3 accounts on it. All mine.

And then hiphopgamer reported the same article. Except he went for the click-inducing title of "PS3 in last place!" rather than the boring title of this one.

I think there might have been another story, which may have been the original but due to a fluke got reported away first.

You must all have better things to do with your time.

If that was the case, it'd have been on the marketplace at launch. What makes you think this DLC is all that large? It's essentially the existing mercenaries mode with a couple of different rule sets. Capcom seems to like doing post-release DLC, they're doing it with SFIV and now they're doing it with RE5.

I believe there was a study a few months back that apparently stated that the "golden" window for DLC was one month after release. Looks like Capcom is doing exactly ...

Why not enlighten us?

If you've got something to say, say it.

Agreed. I don't buy Microsoft's excuse of "nothing like netflix exists in the uk". Netflix is huge in America, so that just tells me there's quite an obvious gap in the Market that Microsoft could be filling.

Because in order to get more hits, you need to focus on the most shocking thing about any given story. Even if that shocking thing was the absence of a shocking thing.

Pretty even cut across the board, there, no particular console sweeped up which means either it was slim pickings, or gamers the world over had a very nice year.
I'd say it was the latter.

Got the game early myself, absolutely blitzed it, had a lot of fun.

I have to say, though, the AI partner is as thick as shyte, if you can, get a buddy to play co-op with you, to make a great game an amazing game. She just irritated the hell out of me - wasting ammo, being unhelpful, getting in the way, doing stupid things like literally walking into obvious danger (Hey, I've got no ammo left and I'm stuck behind this fence with a dog on the other side. Even though I'm safe, I'm ...

And yet people badmouth DVD's...
Swings and roundabouts, people. Swings and roundabouts. For every multi-disk game on the 360, there's a 5Gb install game on the PS3. I think ultimately, it all balances out.

What a ridiculous article. If you're not capable of reading the back of a box before you buy something, or looking up a review, or going to a website or anything to tell you what you're actually buying, you've got bigger things to worry about.
I'd maybe accept the "we were duped!" excuse if it was a bad game, but it's not, it's a quality little title with a good production value, it's clear a lot of effort was made on Ensemble's part. Some people just look for any excuse to ha...

insomnium, you just went from making a decent argument into a silly debate. You essentially just said "well MY facts are more right than your facts, but I've not looked into your facts".
But it's true - loading times on both consoles are more or less the same. If there's ever an advantage, it's on the 360. How do you explain that one? And your idea of "The ps3 is just so new..." is preposterous, BR disks may be new but reading data from optical media certainly is not...

All 360's manufactured since about august 2007 have HDMI ports on them now.

They're not doing brilliantly, but they're certainly doing a lot better these days than they were a few years ago.

There's probably a larger success of the cases being approved in Texas or something.

Still, disgraceful.

Yeah one of my friend's PS3s died, he had to pay something like £150 to get it repaired. In fairness, Sony just replaced it with a brand new (or at least refurbished) console and took the old one away. Still, he could have bought an Arcade for that! =P

(Note: That was a joke).

insomnium, we could probably end up debating this all day, it seems there's many conflicting sources on the issue, but can we at least agree that there's yet to be a game on both systems that has loaded faster on the PS3 WITHOUT an install?
And even with installs, loading times are nearly the same (although it would be unfair to compare an installed 360 game to an installed PS3 game).

Not that it really matters, we've digressed from the point that I was trying to make, that...

I've spotted a MAJOR difference between them.
Right, look at the one on the left, it's CLEARLY running on an Xbox 360. And the one on the right? It's obviously running on a PS3!
You don't get much different than that!
