I did enjoy RE5, but I also enjoyed earlier RE games. I hope they bring back some of the older games, even in remake form. RE2 is still my favourite in the series.
This article just wants to have a go at Microsoft. It uses Yaris as an example, because it's a really bad game, but they neglect to mention that it does NOT break even the 50Mb early limit on XBLA games (So it's irrelevant right away), nor the fact that it was a FREE download.

I own a beefy PC (Quad-core, 4Gb RAM, 9800GTX+, about 3Tb of HDD space), I play lots of games on my PC, but I play L4D on my 360. Why? Because not many of my friends are big PC gamers, they all own the game on the 360 though.
I'd love to persuade them to play it on PC instead, but that's just not feasible.
Dunno about the players, but in the UK a lot of Zavvi stores have reduced the price of most BRs to £10, about the same (or less) as a regular DVD.
If you're finding limitations using XNA, then it's time to buy a real dev kit. Got a few grand to spare?
Why are people surprised that a lot of the games are "crap"? Have you looked at youtube, at all? What percentage of the videos on there do you think are actually worth watching? 1%? At best?
It's not easy making a game. It's really really not. And it takes more than 3 months to really make anything worthwhile.

Don't get me wrong, Ubuntu is great, I wouldn't say it's better or worse than other Linux distros out there. It does what it sets out to do perfectly well. But there ARE micro versions of linux that'll boot in a few seconds, that's all I was saying.
I don't know, the Wii's GPU kinda has to be made by AMD, but there's nothing in particular about the motion stuff in a wiimote that means it can only be made by one company. Chances are, Nintendo either uses several manufacturers or awarded a single contract to the lowest bidder (that met their quality requirements).
GTA IV was a good game. A great game, even. But it was no GOTY.
It might put windows and MacOS to shame, but it certainly doesn't put other Linux distributions to shame.
