Wow, the fanboys are out in full force tonight. Apparently MS can't even make a comment without getting flak for it.
If someone asks you a question, do you only answer it if you care about the subject?
Obviously someone approached MS for comment and they gave one. MS didn't release a Press statement or anything like that.
Mod parent up. This is a complete non-issue, it's like saying that since Microsoft is developing a new OS for PCs and thus must be losing faith in the 360. Completely different area of the company.
Even if the PS3 outsold the 360 2:1 WORLDWIDE, what makes you think it would change anything? MS likes money and even in "last" place, there's still money to be made. Look at Nintendo, between the SNES and the Wii, they were consistently in last place in the console market (not including hand-helds, of course) and yet they're still here, still going strong. Stronger than ever, in fact. Why would MS be any different?
This generation is pretty much set in stone, all 3 con...
"fans" of the franchise being "mad" because it jumped ship? Don't be silly, if they truly WERE fans, they'd have the game's developer's interests in mind. Games are expensive to make, developers need to make money on them in order to stay afloat, that's just how it works.
Most of the time, it's more profitable to go multi-platform, but that doesn't mean sticking to ONE platform doesn't have it's advantages.
If you tell Sony your game is ONLY coming out o...
There's nothing wrong with XNA games, it's a great platform and the fact that there's so many "rubbish" games on it proves just how accessible it is.
We could really do with some sites that keep track of the games, reviewing them and such, promoting the really good ones.
That would all be fine and true if it wasn't for the fact that 9 times out of 10, he uses some absurd headline based on zero evidence, designed to do nothing but attract attention.
As tactless as the above commenter is, he's got a point - you compared a BRAND NEW machine to an old machine. That's hardly a fair comparison.
Plus, just because Macs are very high quality, that doesn't mean to say that PCs aren't. Cheap PCs will be, but there are some VERY high-quality ones out there as well, which are still cheaper than most macs. That's competition for you.
I genuinely lol'd.
Since when has a name that's represented anything lost all meaning after the person has died?
Someone should ring up just about every church out there and tell them that all their saints are meaningless...
Colin McRae will ALWAYS represent Rally driving, both in games and elsewhere. I mean, isn't Tony Hawk Retired or something? Yet they're still using his name.
JokesOnYou: It's too late for him to get any credibility back.
Kakkoii, £ is pounds, not €uro. But yes, that price doesn't include the ridiculous contract you're forced to take with the iphone.
You make it sound like one fanboy is better than another fanboy. If you ask me, they all need a slap.
Too big? Like Watchmen?
I do think they'll be Xbox Originals for sure, I'm just saying that "space" isn't the issue it once was.
Go away, hiphopgamer. It's too late.
MC_KOOL_K, you got ripped off. My 12 month old PC that cost me less than your 6month old PC runs rings around my PS3 (Folding@Home is how I tested it).
Good to see Progress has been made. I always felt that Mass Effect was a "good" game that could have easily been a "great" game had it not been for the technical issues. Plus, it did always feel to me that a lot of it was cut out or something, now they admit it and I'm not surprised.
ME2 is still a day-1 purchase for me, though.
There is absolutely no TECHNICAL reason as to why it couldn't be on the PC. But why would they? The real money is made on consoles, these days.
And I'm a PC gamer.
Platform exclusivity should change!
(lol)
It's perfectly natural for companies to develop products ahead of time. No doubt Nintendo is developing the next Wii and Sony is developing the PSP2 and PS4.
It's not just this industry, either, you have to plan ahead or you'll end up behind the competition.
One thing Microsoft has on it's side, though, is that as it's primarily a software company, they are constantly updating their APIs and SDKs, which will easily translate to the next generation of consoles. The hardware behind...
