You can play alongside it, just don't answer the questions and you'll be "spectating".
Easy solution: Make L4D2 an expansion pack. That way, anyone who has L4D2 must have all the L4D1 content. This is how PC games have worked for years and years and would quell the people complaining as well.
Considering that the game is coming out on 360 and PC and that this article isn't about any one specific version, it should be in both channels.
Never mind DLC, my pet peeve is so-called "Microtransactions". Take them and shove them. I want more DLC like The Lost and the Damned - actual expansions, not extra clothing or maybe an extra map (if you're lucky) for an extortionate price.
Because despite these sales figures, Japan plays an important role in the whole industry. Don't get me wrong, when it comes to pure Sales, I agree that Japan's impact is overblown by the media, but 2 of the big 3 come from Japan, so Japan will always have a large influence on the market as a whole.
AS a matter of fact, sony IS losing money on each 360 version sold. Sure, Sony pictures owns the rights to Ghostbusters, their share of each sale is unaffected, but Sony Computer Entertainment gets a chunk from each sale of the PS3 version, a chunk which would otherwise go to Microsoft if a 360 version is sold.
Still, Sony isn't directly behind this, Atari is, although that's likely due to licensing agreements with Sony.
It's not available because the company that owns them has shut down. If these titles were sold in stores, they'd be taken off of shelves for the exact same reasons. This is a rare, rare occurrence and wont happen often.
Microsoft does not own the rights to the titles. In fact, right now nobody does, which is why they cannot be sold. This is why they've been taken off XBLA. Eventually, once the licensing rights have been sorted, they'll go back up.
Strange, with a name like "KilZoneGeneralStrife&quo t; and only a PSN ID in your profile, I'm very surprised that you've owned a 360 for the last 3 years.
mikegotgame, I have a friend who's PS3 broke after just over 1 year and he had to pay over £100 to get it fixed by Sony. Why not add that to your comparison?
Oh, because "chances are it wont happen"? Since when did a legitimate comparison ever use "chance" to dictate anything? Just what exactly is the % chance that something must happen before it factors into things? 10%? 20%? 30%? It's people like you that are giving this industry a bad name.
Your ...
Back in my day, a "console exclusive" was still pretty exclusive.
@GWAVE
So what, Natal can't track the controller itself? Or your head movements? Or your feet or anything like that? It has to only track your hands and arms? Or that it can't track your facial expressions because you're using a controller? Think outside the box for once.
Pointless debate. You're comparing apples to oranges. Both motion sensing devices work in different ways and have many, many different applications.
It's like debating which is better between a fork and a spoon.
Why are you assuming that Natal can't be used with a controller? What's really stopping a developer using the 360 pad and Natal at the same time?
The difference, which isn't that subtle, is that Natal and the PS3 motion stuff actually works well.
Apparently, these silverlight ads are going to replace the existing ads on the dash. Have you seen the current ads on the dash? They're nothing special, they're pretty much all contained within the one section and are mostly relevant to the latest releases and such. I really don't think it's going to be much of an issue.
Try something that uses a lot of heavy Javascript. Google maps is a good example.
What the frak did you just say?
Try hitting Ctrl and + together. Zoom ftw. Or on some browsers, holding control and scrolling also works.
Can't wait for this!
