The Chinese servers are down, not their ability to play on US/European servers.
You make it sound like bragging rights aren't awesome to have!
Not a bad bundle, but shouldn't it at least come with Halo 1 and 2 to be a truly "Ultimate" Halo bundle?
They could even be on the hard drive, like Hexic HD is.
People are probably predicting it because they WANT it to be cheaper. If sony can pull that off, it'll benefit PS3 owners and developers everywhere.
Did none of you people consider just knifing wesker in the final battle? It's not that hard.
Pointless? What makes you so sure? There's no reason why racing games can't use the device but keep pad controls (ala burnout paradise), there's no reason why RPGs couldn't use the facial expression tracker while giving pad owners a menu to pick from. The scope is fantastic there.
Natal and the Wiimote are as different from each other as the Wiimote and the DualShock 3 are. You can't compare them, they work in completely different ways and have completely different applications.
I got a little excited when I read the title, I thought it was some kind of PSP remake. I'd kill for a remake of RE2.
Still, bloody good game though, remake or not.
I'm not so sure. PS1 games work on the PS3 quite well, yet Sony still makes a fortune from selling them on the PSN.
However, due to the complex nature of PS2 emulation, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a more selective emulation, rather like the 360's Xbox emulation, where there's a list of working games rather than a list of nonworking games.
It's not so much Sony as the publishers that want region locking a lot of the time.
I'm glad you read the article.
That's how the Milo demo worked. That's what the big fuss was about when people called it "smoke and mirrors". Milo didn't understand a word that girl said, but he could get a rough idea from her facial expression and tone. It's not too dissimilar to talking with someone who speaks a foreign language. You have no idea what they're actually saying, but in context, you could probably get a good idea.
Probably because MGS4 bundles sold really well in the past and it's one of those exclusives on the PS3 that really DOES shift consoles, bundled or otherwise. And it's now a budget title, so even more bang for buck.
I dunno, there's no reason why the Go is that expensive, perhaps its designed to off-balance loosing out on the PS3.
Terrible logic. Killzone 2 doesn't cost Sony $60 to box with the PS3, nor does MGS4 cost them $30. They're bundled, they're added value to the console but that doesn't mean that same value can be subtracted. Sony likely waves their licensing fees and such for those titles, as well as doing deals with the publishers to keep the cost of them down as low as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if the "Actual" value of a Bundled Killzone 2 was closer to $20.
And it makes sense...
It's sad, but it's not unusual for "trashy games" to sell more than they cost to make. After all, make a cheap enough game and you don't need many sales to profit - just look at the shovelware on the Wii. Who knows, maybe TW2 will actually be decent, maybe they'll have invested their profits well and got a solid game in the works. Maybe it'll be that oblivion beater that the first was meant to be. Or maybe not.
@Jinxstar Because it's always fun to show up the idiots that should be posting in the OpenZone.
This was a poor man's oblivion at best. And I didn't even like Oblivion.
Seriously, this is the kind of game that even if it was exclusive, the most diehard of fanboys couldn't pretend to like it.
@Zedux because the 360 doesn't get great exclusives, either?
It took steam YEARS to get to where it is today. Long before the Xbox even existed.
