What about when she leaves you?
Sorry mate, you're in the wrong place. The Open Zone is that tab to the right of this one.
Don't say that! You'll have your bubbles cut down faster than a speeding proton.
Even as an XBLA game, the trailer made it look incredibly boring. And you know it's going to end up costing 1200 points, when I'd personally be hard pushed to pay 400 points considering the level of enjoyment that the trailer presented me.
I dunno, maybe when we find more out about the game, it'll be better, but frankly that trailer was terrible and didn't get me excited at all.
The kind of person that's going to cause mischief with these goggles is the kind of person that's going to cause mischeif without them anyway - they'll just find a different way to do it. What exactly are they going to do, anyway, aside from jumping out and scaring people at night?
Wow, you've played all those games already?! I want whatever insider contacts you have!
I just watched the trailer for that "miner wars" and I've never been more underwhelmed in my life.
For half of it, literally nothing happens. Nothing. Just lots of slow moving camera action. Then for the other half, we just have about 5 ships flying around shooting each other with machine guns. I don't get it! What's the appeal to that game meant to be? The name makes it sound like something from Red Faction, but all we seemed to get was a poor-man's Descent Deathmatch.
I can't see this working. This wouldn't compete with the PS3 or 360, it's clearly a casual affair, but that market is already pretty saturated by other set-top boxes. I know in the UK, sky have their own gaming service for their satellite boxes and in the US, there's at least 2 or 3 providers with a similar service. I'm not sure where Apple would fit into all of that.
The sad thing is that this is actually one of the better price conversions we've seen lately. Typically, we get shafted much more than this, like with Rock band that literally cost twice as much as it did in the US for the band set, but you didn't even get the game.
Actually the new SKU is part of the solution as well. Chances are the reason sony hasn't dropped the price on the current PS3s much is quite simply because they can't. A redesign could allow them to get more headroom and be able to finally drop the price to a more appealing sum.
Furthermore, Sony redesigned both the PS1 and the PS2 with great success in the past, I don't see why they couldn't do the same with the PS3. Inn fact, I'd be willing to bet that Sony has been planning it all al...
One thing that's worth keeping in mind, particularly when people complain about the "lack of" software on the 360: When someone buys a new console, there's a good chance they don't currently own a system from that generation, which basically means that just about every game released on that system so far is still a viable option of entertainment for them. Games that were good 2 or 3 years ago still tend to be good today so when it comes to NEW console sales, Microsoft can get away w...
Did you actually read the article?
"We have a list of stuff we will have access to on Monday, which you can see after the jump, but we were also able to put together a gallery of some of the things we will be playing with as well."
Notice the terms "we WILL have access to" and "we WILL BE playing with"? That's called the future tense. It means it hasn't happened yet. I don't see how you're getting confused by any of this.
Apparently you're missing the 6th and 7th words in the very phrase you're quoting: "Early access".
That's not even all of it. Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm and (in the UK, at least) Sky support is coming as well. Quite a nice little update.
EDIT: If you're going to disagree, by all means post a reason why. Those are already confirmed features, it's hard to disagree with solid fact without showing that you're being a bit of a silly fanboy.
If you want a good functioning pair of nightvision goggles, buy a pair of good, funcitoning night vision goggles. If you want a cool collectors item, get the prestige edition of MW2. I don't see what the fuss is about, even if the goggles are a bit rubbish, is anyone seriously considering buying the prestige edition with a practical use for them in mind?
They're the kind of thing that sit on a nice shelf somewhere and shown off to friends once in a while.
If you want dedicated servers, get the PC version.
If developers/publishers want a piece of the used game sales pie, there's a very easy way to get it: Lower your prices.
Nobody buys used games for any reason other than cost and if used games sales are high enough that they're eating into the profits of new game sales, then that indicates an untapped market. I wonder how many former used-game sales would be converted to new game sales if the RRP of said game was dropped $10 or $20.
The only thing I want explained here is why people care so much.
"I usually don't post on N4G anymore but i must say people.
...
I won't take part in this 360 and ps3 fanboy fight "
Lol.
Why did you feel the need to post, after all this time of not posting, just to say you aren't going to post?
