You can tell the ignorance by the fact that this person does not seem to know what Google's Chrome OS is really for:

"Google Chrome OS is a project by Google to develop a light computer operating system devoted to using the World Wide Web.[1] Announced on July 7, 2009, it is based on Google's Chrome web browser and the Linux kernel. It will initially be targeted at netbooks,[2]"

Chrome OS isn't a fully-fledged OS, it's designed for things like netbooks and will only do basic web browsing and maybe some document editing (thanks to Google Docs). It wont run games, it wont do anything fancy, it'll be simple and fast.

Vista's compatibility issues were mainly due to DRIVER issues, not software issues (well, drivers are technically software as well, but they run on a lower level). 7 is as compatible as Vista is, but before you go and bash 7, ask yourself when the last time you actually used Vista was. 3 years on and most manufacturers have caught up with their driver support. Honestly, unless your hardware is more than about 6 or 7 years old, you should be fine.

Played this for a while myself, it's a VERY nicely presented game. All comic book games should be presented as well as this one. However, the gameplay IS a little shallow. Combat may as well be a one-button affair, think along the lines of assassins creed, impressive looking but not very deep. Still, its a wonderful game to play and the story is pretty damn good. It deserves a lot of high praise and sales, but sadly due to the predominantly SP element, I fear it'll be quickly pushed into &quo...

The secret to articles like this is not taking it so seriously. Not everything has to be 360 vs. PS3. Likewise, not everything has to be Blu-ray vs. *.

Technically, the wording of the statement is correct. I mean, grammatically it's fine, it's accurate, it just depends on how much you want to read into it.
I, personally, read it as them saying "we're the only ones that have both!", not "We're the only ones that have either!". But as I said, their wording was quite accurate, it's more a testament to how vague the English language can be.

In case anyone's wondering, the poster above me originally said this:

"just a thought..... what's the point of LIVE being free when there isn't any games to play on it as of right now? I mean, I'm waiting for COD: MW 2 to come out just like everyone and perhaps L4D2 also (Alan Wake assuming it'll come out early 2010).... but I don't see anything else on the horizon that makes me want to spend more time on my 360??? But Sony on the other hand are throwing heavy weight punches...

They have a deal with Endemol (I think that's the name, the people that own 1vs100 - and quite a lot of other shows) and when they first announced Primetime, they made it quite clear that 1vs100 was only the beginning.

RAGE didn't originally have 2 or 3 wastelands, I believe it was supposed to have 5 or 6, but when it came to sorting out the disk issue, they changed that into 2 large wastelands instead. Who knows what they cut, really, this interview doesn't actually tell us much about that.

How can you say that the reason there's only 2 disks is because they'd have to pay Microsoft extra for a 3rd, then go on about how Doom 4 will be better because it'll have 3 disks?
Also, make no mistake here, the reason Rage ended up this way was because it made more sense to, due to the design of the game in the first place. 3 disks wouldn't have worked smoothly due to the design of the wastelands, which would have meant a lot of disk swapping, so it made sense at some point to cut som...

How could G4 test anything that hasn't been released yet? Anything that hasn't even got an announced game on it?

BlackTar187:

The main difference is in how the technology works, that's what makes Natal so special (read: Different) compared to the PSEye, which if you had to compare it to something, is more like the Live Vision Camera.

All the PSEye does, from a very basic point of view, is take a snapshot of the room without you in it, then when you stand in front of it, it can compare what's different about it the picture. Since humans have roughly the same shape, it's easy to ...

I reckon the ZuneHD will be Microsoft's foray into the portable gaming market. It more competes with the likes of the iPhone than the PSP/DS, though. Still I bet it'll be an entirely digital affair.

Am I the only person in the world that finds it hard to get excited about something that we know absolutely nothing about?

Only about 7 of those games are of personal interest to me, but I reckon that's still a decent lineup for someone with picky tastes, such as myself. Absolutely gutted about Bioshock 2, though.

Natal really WOULD let you "Kick!" and "Punch!". And not just in your mind!

Probably but only because they are using the Starfox name/IP. If Nintendo did pull a hissy fit, they could just as easily change the name, characters and some of the ship designs and release it all the same. Nintendo can't do anything about that, or Shadow Complex wouldn't exist either.

I want whatever N64 you had, because mine looked nowhere near as good as that.
And this is a FAN MADE project, i.e. it's made voluntarily by people for FREE, to be released FOR FREE, to get that level of quality at all is staggering, let alone in 6 years. Kudos to them.
