Totally weak. Having played Guitar Hero with both wireless and wired, wireless is definitely better. But having it wired isn't really that bad, it'll still be awesome.
Sorry. Double Post.
Overrated or not, voting lame on every 360 article is stupid. Don't be as bad as scriptkiddie.
This is a one time, optional thing that only Ridge Racer fans who play everyday would feel the need to do. And I'm sure Ridge Racer fans are happy about being able to reduce load times by letting the game install once while they're off eating lunch, or taking a shower, or getting some exercise.
Hmmm. Usually there are only 3 games that I play frequently at any given time. Assuming I CHOOSE (I have the option to not install and still play, albeit with slightly longer loading times like 15 seconds, which isn't really bad) to install all three of those, and they all happen to be 5 GB, then I still have 45GB left for music and other stuff. That's still more than twice as much as you have on your 360 deceased, and that's a worst case scenario for me. I don't think Resistance has an i...
Actually, April is the earliest date. It could be anytime after that in fiscal 2008. :(
Epic did not say that. Epic said it couldn't have been done on the 360 if Microsoft hadn't doubled the memory at their request. Go read that interview again to see exactly what was said.
Ohandbytheway, the ps3 has 512MB of memory, same as the 360.
Ugh. I hate when people see grainy low res videos and draw conclusions from them.
I also believe that the 360 version will look better, considering the ps3 had less dev time and this is their first ps3 game, but I don't know by how much, and you cannot tell anything from low quality videos. Wait until some high def videos are out to watch, or better yet, try and find a way to demo both of them to see.
Totally agree on the "don't update until Vista hits."
I think at the gamersday thing on the 19th, Kaz showed the audience the video of him saying the Ridge Racer thing on youtube(someone else can spell out the shout, I'm not good at that stuff).
I also enjoyed the lack of jumping in Geometry Wars.
WTF!
This is just like the Godfather thing then. They charge people money for stuff in the game. They are literally getting money for NOTHING. What's next? This is ridiculous.
It's cool how the controller works with the web browser, but I can only see myself using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to use this.
Resistance Fall of Man = 2 months with the final devkits
Gears of War = over a year with the final devkits
They may have been in the works for a relatively similar amount of time, but that is not typically how game generations are judged. The fact that Kameo was in sporadic development for years didn't make it any less a launch title. Insomniac could have been working on this game since 1995, but it would still be a first gen game.
And Gears could accom...
Next Christmas is shaping up to be huge. GTA IV releases in mid October, Halo 3 in like November or something, and MGS4 and FFXIII probably in late 2007 too. Plus, who knows when SSB Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy are going to hit? Additionally, all of the consoles should have some nice greatest hits games out at reduced prices. Next Christmas is going to be huge for all three consoles. I'm really looking forward to it.
And Ps3Fan, stop being so stupid.
If this stuff is ready now, it should be in the actual game, not downloadable for extra cost.
South Park has done the PSP, the 360, and now the Wii. I just think they do what they feel like. I thought it was odd that Cartman wanted a Wii though, seeing as how he seems more likely to pick the console that would fit his sedentary lifestyle. Maybe one of the punchlines in part 2, i mean part 1, will be that he finally gets to play the Wii, but he's too out of shape to play for more than a few seconds at a time.
He's right. There is no existing 720i standard, only 720p.
40 player multiplayer would be awesome, especially since you still have the ability (in RFOM as well) to limit the matches to 4v4 or 8v8 or whatever else you desire. 20v20 would just be the max, not the requirement.
90%, awesome. But, then again, who didn't expect high scores for this game, besides the Sony/Nintendo fanboys?
