If you go to IGN you can see videos where the player and his allies go up against a ton of enemies in the streets at once. The environments are huge, and the particle effects are insane. Stop being such a flamer.

The next installment, xiii, has a predicted release date of late 2007, or sometime in 2008, so it'll be a pretty long wait after this.
Sony's predicted 6 million consoles sold by the end of the fiscal year (March '07). I would be very confused if they only predicted to sell 2 million more in the next 21 months after selling 6 million in 5 months.
I think it would have been smarter to spread out the first party releases a bit more, but at least they're not splitting the same demographic.

If you're going to tout around exclusives, pick something like Lost Planet, or Blue Dragon. Bioshock and Huxley (another FPS on the 360 is one of your big exclusives?) will both come to the pc. I'll have plenty of fun playing Bioshock on my pc, and with user created content and the fact that nothing beats the ol' mouse and keyboard, it'll probably be better on the pc anyways.

The ps3 is supposed to have 500k at launch, and 2 million total for the holiday season. And the sales of 100,000 in Australia is still a smaller percentage of the population than American sales in that same timespan (.55% to .49%), so I think it might be more of a reflection of the growing size of the Australian gaming market than anything else. Fact #1: Gran Turismo is still the premier driving simulator. Gran Turismo has had 4 installments, whose aggregate rankings according to gamerankings are 95, 93, 94, and 89.
