Seems a bit too "sky is falling" to me. MS may not be the market leader in alot of areas it competes in, but it definitely isn't about to sink.

Honestly, this game has failed to impress me when I saw demos. Hopefully, they use the extra time to make it better.

I'll be interested to see this November when the 3 year warranty on the launch 360's is due to expire and how MS will handle that. Beyond that, MS is going to have to deal with the next few years of complaints as more and more expire. Hopefully, newer hardware is stable so the system can last a good deal longer.

They didn't say anything about BC. In fact, the only thing they did say was the drive would go to 80GB. I expect it to be the same except for the drive.

I think these PS3 type stories are going to be in past now that so many devs are putting out their first release on the PS3. Some of course are on to #2 and beyond. The collective knowledge has reached the majority in the industry, so the talent can be hired and knowledge shared.
The 80GB MGS4 bundle is for the enthusiast. That's not going to sell to the majority of people.
They needed to drop the 40GB $50.00 like MS did until they ran out.
yeah, I don't understand their logic at all. Announce in July a bigger sized harddrive will be available in Sept. but for the same price as the ones today. Only people unaware will buy before then.
At least MS was wise enough to drop the price to move the old stuff.
Sony isn't bringing in the 80GB until Sept. according to E3. What are they going to do in August?

I have no idea why Sony announced a new model for the same price this far in advance of its release. Alot of people put their wallets away and said I'll wait then to get a better deal. They should have discounted the 40GB to get rid of them like MS did to the 20GB.
Should be retitled genius game designers. Carmack trumps all these in sheer brain power. Tim Sweeney is another genius in the game industry.
Designers get alot of credit, but there are tons of very smart people in other facets of the game industry, many of which you never hear about.
