I'm wondering why the Eyetoy is the only way to get images into it. Is this simply a ploy to sell more Eyetoys? How hard could it be to allow jpgs?

RC - Exactly. Hardcore gamers are concerned that the games they love are going to be fewer and fewer as teams devote efforts to the casual. I'm hoping that more developers and resources are added instead of diverting existing resources.

Seems like there were alot of things broken from reviews I've read. Not sure how much time they need to fix it and what they are willing to admit is broken about it.
I get in maybe 10-12 hours in a week. Can't even fire up the console until 10:00 or 11:00.
Unfortunately, video games have a bad stigma in our society. The older generation views video games for young kids as something that is rotting their brain.
"Are you playing video games again?"
"All he does is play video games"
"Stop playing video games, go watch TV or something"
Even my wife say video games cause my kids to have short attention spans... she's just parroting what you hear and read about in the media.

Offtopic (somewhat) but Qore this week was pretty lame.
PC's are suffereing a similar fate to sameitis. PC's get more horsepower and better graphics every second Tuesday, but fewer and fewer PC only games are coming out, so PCS360 games will all look the same. What developer is going to spend extra months making 3 versions all look different?

id makes games for mobile phones and whatnot. The Wii is just about the only platform they haven't tackled (including a Mac).
This won't move consoles because no one but gamers know about it. Where is the advertising? Even my mother knows what Halo is, but mention Little Big Planet and you get a 50 yard stare.

They must have not paid enough.
If they didn't pay for it, SE would release the PS3 version when it was done and not delay until the 360 was ready. What reason would they have for sitting on a completed game when it could be out there making money.
Also, why would FFXIII VS. not go to the 360? Argument should stand as well as that going multiplatform.
It seems this game was getting a bad rap, but then as of late it seems the tide had turned the other way.
MS is about 3 months away from launch systems expiring on their 3 year warranty. It will be interesting to see what happens then when the proverbial s&it hits the fan.
If the game is intended for adults and has a mature rating, why are they putting child safety protections in the game? That's like having 2 versions of an 'R' movie, one has little black squares over everything in case kids are present.
