It's gotta be the hair
Every gamer has a guilty pleasure, hack and slash are mine. I even like the crummy ones like Conan. Either society has reduced and belittled my masculinity and caged my testosterone driven instincts to the point I need to project these internal oppressions onto pixelated enemies or I just like to make things bleed (one or the other).
In response to what some people might think that this was a rush job. This game was actually due to come out last year when the movie was due, bu...

Don't you just love how the gaming industry loves to hype up their secrets? It's like if your wife says, "We really need to talk, but I'm going out of town for 2 weeks so when I get back".
Would you retrieve the DSi post rectum shoving or would you just skip the rectum shoving altogether in that case? You might be able to just poke the stylus up there, they are rather easy to replace.
I would tend to disagree they got out due to financial reasons. It's possible it will flop, but I think the controversy will help it make sales. Gamers don't typically shy away from controversial games... GTA has made a killing on them. I think Konami didn't want a PR hit. Japanese companies seem to be courting the West lately and they probably didn't want the bad press for the company.
Exactly. You can shoot real Iraqis and get a medal, but God forbid you shoot virtual ones.
Just goes to show what kind of sickos you run into on the web and don't even know it.
DMC5 is coming out this year. It's called Bayonetta.

Noooooooooooooo, how can I grow my e-p*nis if I can't get trophies?
(am I allowed to say penis on here?)
One thing to mention on this game and Whitey says a few times it feels rushed or they didn't have time to fix some bugs. This game was actually due to be released over a year ago, but the movie was pushed back. Raven Soft had a ton of extra time to go in and make additions, changes, polish to the game to bring it to the next level. Bugs in there were probably due to new features or poor testing, but it definitely isn't a rush it out the door movie game if that is any consolation if you are...
I will say I loved the aesthetics of PoP and found it was a unique game. My complaint about never dying just ruined the suspension of disbelief though.
Why are there 0 reviews out for this game if it comes out tomorrow? I hope that doesn't foretell a problem, like the publisher didn't send out review copies on time purposely. I'd like a little summer stealth and hope it pans out well.
How do they know the guy wasn't playing it on his own and the guy snuck in and shot him? If he was still holding the controller and in the back of the head, it couldn't have been much of a fight.
"360 Gamers are moving to Playstation 3"
Sony certainly sells more than 360 PS3's in a given month or even week. Doesn't seem like big news to me :)
Why <insert game here> should be on the PS3.
Put whatever game you want in brackets and this same argument could be said.
What you described in points 2 and 3 would be 2 separate games for Epic to develop which no developer would do.
@deeznuts - Good insight.
I can almost guarantee a follow up to the Force Unleashed. It sold well and they created a new engine that they spent years on, so there is no way they will fold that tent after 1 release. I enjoyed the game and would look forward to a sequel.
No way in heck they release a new console by end of 2010. I would not even think 2011, maybe 2012 at the earliest.
Console makers want to squeeze everything they can out of the large expense it takes to make a new system. Why rush into a new one when this one isn't tapped yet? MS isn't way behind this generation, they have no reason to abandon ship and the economy is not favorable to it.
Plus you have devs just hitting their stride with this gen. Do you think the...
