Olivia is a TV personality first and a gamer a distant second. Now Morgan Webb on the other hand actually does play games and has her whole life. I'd rather see her in Playboy even if she has a man jaw.
and no nudity in Playboy? Come on, what's the point?
Sounds like the stock market to me. You buy stock in a game and if it sells well you get some type of return on your investment, and if it flops you lose out? You have to consider the investors get a free copy (or do they) so you lose sales off the top for that. Does this mean the developers have to have an open door policy since we invested in them. We can know deadlines, progress, current development, all the things I would want to know if I bought stock in a game.
Still th...
Ah, I'm in between on its value. The content is interesting in that it delves further into games that are well covered on the internet already, but I'm through it in about 20-30 minutes. The betas and DLC aren't bad if they are up your alley. Veronica isn't too hard on the eyes either :). I find I'm not that eager to check out each months issue as I was at the start, but it does have some value.
Flock was a fun demo. My kid loves it and has been bugging me to get the full game.
The only problem is MS's past history of pricing peripherals is not on the cheap side. Will they then reduce the price of HD's and Wireless along with all their other addons to match or will they have another excuse why they can't yet they can price Natal reasonably.
More like xmas 2010.
Online petitions are rather silly. How hard is it to go add your name to a petition because you hope it might get you something cheaper or cause a company to change their policy? A very small percentage of the signees would actually follow through and not buy the game in protest. The rest just read some forum post, clicked a link and typed their name and done with it. Make someone print out, sign and mail off a petition and watch those numbers that signed plummet.
Sony needs a price drop plain and simple or a Slim version which is just a price drop in sheeps clothing. No one game is all of a sudden going to skyrocket PS3 sales. You might get a spike when GOWIII releases for that that month, but that's about it.
No Professor Layton?
"They said that the way that Treyarch’s code is executed and organized causes the disc to spin too fast in the PS3 thus blowing the Blu Ray lens and that is what causes all those disc read errors."
A game developer doesn't write the disc controller code. That would be many, many layers below the code they are writing and handled by the OS. Possibly the way Treyarch structured the media onto the disc and how they stream it off might cause alot of disc reads and rotatio...
This sounds like a HipHopGamer topic.
Too many articles are just too shortsighted. Motion isn't here to force us to dive behind our couch and run around the room to mimic an FPS space marine. I agree that not alot of games have innovated on the Wii motion, but some have and if you look at what they have done, you can see how the trend can carry forward. Look at a sadly overlooked Wii game, Zack and Wiki. This game had the misfortune of looking like a kiddy game, but had adult level difficulty. It hit the motion controls dead ...
No way, we need more trophies integrated into our daily life. How about a platinum trophy for spending over $300.00 at the grocery store, quickest time between street lights, loudest talker in a movie. A trophy for winning an argument with your significant other. How about a trophy for voting (we would get alot more voter turnout).
Let's capitalize on what it has done for gaming.
Doesn't China do alot of gold farming?
The one thing MS has to change is their overpricing of peripherals. Natal may come packed with future consoles, but they said it will be backward compatible which means you can add it on. MS has a bad history of charging up the ying yang for peripherals ($100 for wireless!!!) and if they want Natal to catch on, they have to price it to be attractive. Does this mean they have to reevaluate their pricing elsewhere? To be consistent, they better.
It's about time. What else do I have to do while driving, look at the road?
Reminds me of a joke updated for the new age.
When I die I want to go peaceful and happy like my grandfather who was watching porn on his iPhone. Not screaming and panicking like the passengers in the car he was driving.
Is he still alive?
I smell timed exclusive on Agent.
And whoever sues them will be playing right into their hands. A frivolous lawsuit that they can easily win but with added publicity and exposure.
I hope Brutal Legend comes out and makes a ton of money for Double Fine and Activision has to sit in the corner and sulk. Play it safe with your yearly churning of tired genre games and let those publishers with a pair take a chance on original IP. Besides, you can always change the set list and sell Guitar Hero 10.
