Greenberg: My understanding is that GOW III may or may not be an exclusive. I don't want to put any rumors out on the net, but you might want to ask Sony how exclusive that one may be. Oh wait, hold on a second my PR handlers want to have a word with me..... Um yes, forget what I just said, got a little carried away there.
I've got
1) Donating his body to Project Natal so he may be dissected and used for the common good of motion and facial/speech recognition
2) Throwing his hat in the DK ring so he can take on and beat Billy Mitchell's current record.
3) Joining forces with Denis Dyack so together they can corner the PR market. One tells you how great the game is and the other tells you how great the game is going to be.
4) Locking himself away from society...
He better not kill that thing off in the end after you spend the whole game bonding with it. I can see it coming and I don't want to cry in front of my children.
We as hardcore gamers have to think differently as to how this will appeal for MS. I don't see it as the next big controller for an FPS. Recall in the demo 2 girls were talking to each other over XBox Live and one picked out a dress by cycling through them with her hand. The other put it on and posed with the dress on. That's powerful stuff. Now imagine you have a whole beauty salon type game where two preteen girls can do hair and makeup, dress up, etc. This is where Natal is going to ...
The main thing I thought MS getting MGS:R was going to do was to encourage those 360 owners who aren't familiar with MGS to get into it and want to visit MGS4 and possibly the whole series. I don't know if getting this game was what most 360 owners would have liked as opposed to getting a port of MGS4.
the motion and facial recognition has alot more potential outside of games as well.
That was great if they put it to good use. The Milo thing has alot of potential. I just wonder how much work making a game out of it would be. Heavy Rain could work beautifully with that technology instead of QTE's.
Did anyone notice they totally dissed Tony Hawk ride by the boy scanning in his skateboard and doing the same thing that the $60.00 skateboard peripheral could do without using anything?
The game is going for $120.00 with the peripheral. Not sure if that is a good price point in this economy. The thing is approaching the price of some consoles. We'll have to see how well this sells, they aren't making a Wii Fit for soccer moms.
Note that I don't believe the $120.00 is official yet, but rumors based on retail data.
Surprised they didn't mention MAG as a game 360 owners would want to steal since a large multiplayer shooter is right in the in 360's demographic.
digital mams make life worth living.
I saw commercials for it during the NBA playoffs (3 or 4 times). That's definitely a big step for Sony advertising.
This game went very quiet since last year. Not a good sign since it is due out right around the corner.
What happened to "We don't comment on rumors"?
First thought was the tags are just there for search purposes as alot of people search on MGS, so it could be meaningless.
Second and more devious thought is that Kojima put the tags there on purpose just to throw you a curveball. It seems pretty obvious someone would happen across those tags and he might be just be putting out some bait for a bluff.
Why do we keep hearing that 3rd party exclusives are dead when they keep popping up?
:)
Doh... I've heard of this Canada you speak of. Isn't that where they ship polar bears and drive big trucks over ice :)
I'm just playing with ya. It's Friday and I haven't been properly medicated.... yet
Admit it, you're trading interviews for sexual favors. Come on, you can tell me, no one will know. Be careful, 19 usually means 16 :) Ask her who was Pres when she was born and if she says George Bush, make sure you ask which one.
(Sorry, US Pres that is. I just realized you spelled colour all wrong :) like they do in the UK )
Is she someone famous or just a random gaming shlup with a vajayjay?
Our on site vault was so full we started stacking our money in R&D and well, we seemed to have buried the prototype so we just canceled it and bought a small nation instead. Reggie has always had an eye for Antigua.
