If that came to the us I may take that offer up... (ps4 I mean) I would have to cut my unlimited data but meh ps4!
I really hope it goes valves way to be honest, microsoft have in my opinions stifled the gaming industry for to long on pc and more recently in console gaming but thats me being biased, I usually try to be as non biased when I comment as I can.
I dont really see steam machines becoming mainstream but I also dont think thats the point, they want the hardcore pc audience to realize steam OS is more beneficial to them and the industry than windows. Hopefully they sell that messa...
This is a potential scuffle between microsoft and valve(?)
Both are releasing machines in the hopes it gets people more accustomed to their OS... microsoft even made mobile devices run on what looks very close to windows 8.
microsoft makes its most money from software sales trying to get more people on board with windows 8 (in reviews it was particularly loathed by gamers)
Valve want to pry games away from windows and become the primary plat...
Not really walmart had a separate line for the 32inch $98 doorbuster and limited one per customer
Its all pr spin. They not only have to maintain the illusion of keeping up with sony to the potential consumer base but also to microsofts investors. I doubt they want to be spun off (an extreme scenario) and they dont want to be the least pupular system.
we wont really know anything until official numbers are released by a 3rd party but its not looking as good for microsoft as they would like
Isnt the institute the place where harkness the android escaped from and dr zimmerman was chasing him? A supposed scientific haven... maybe we could catch another glimpse close to the capital wasteland
Whether its real or fake its creating buzz for fallout 4 either way. The devs who make fallout would be wise to capitatilize
And I thought the line last night at walmart for black Friday was long! Holy moly!!!
Im thankful that all of the medical tests I have had done this year are so far negative... thank god for no brain tumors!!!
I accept this excuse BUT imagine if the console was always online mandatory as originally intended?
That would not be a valid excuse then... in that case it would be a massive oversight
I love a good rpg some of my greatest gaming experiences are me playing by my self on zelda, oblivion and secret of mana.
interacting with other people is what I have a social life for, sure playing a shmup online is fun but it shouldnt be the primary focus of a console. I play games to escape other people and enjoy the imaginations of the devs who made the games for me to enjoy...
if the internet is the future of gaming I honesty dont see it being as fun as ...
Im trying to make it as ambiguous as possible, both consoles rely heavily on the internet but I think one more than the other
I would definitely argue the opposite, you make your product as accessible by consumers as possible to maximize profit. Not everyone has internet so making a system that works offline makes sense...
unless of course your main business was not about the games and your profit came mainly from some kind of monthly subscription service and your business model thrives off keeping people subscribed to said model by throwing internet features at people and convincing them it somehow...
I would be upset if I spent 500 dollars on a system that doesn't work also but being upset and having to wait a long time for customer service only suggests there has bee bigger failures for Microsofts box.
its only rumour until their is real evidence
@orange
that actually makes perfect sense, forgive my ignorance I have not lived in the uk for almost 10 years... past tv I uad there used scart!
They had to have optimized the gaming functions of xbox one for 50hrtz to avoid judder in game. Not doing the same for tv features is just a special level of ignorant
Consoles used to be made with pal in mind, this is a huge oversight.
@psychotic
my point was that the living room usually is not exclusive to one user.
My friends skype call to me interrupts a movie the whole family is watching then its counter productive to the families over all enjoyment of the tech.
unless xbox expects all of its consumers to live alone?
Your phone however is a personal device intended for intimate use between itself and usually 1 user.
the living room is a space for the whole family its literally the room intended for the family to live in together...
the two are not eequatible
Thats untrue. Pc's graphics will undoubtedly spur th3 medium forward
