It absolutely says it all, to me. It's my it's my opinion and situation I was speaking to, I have no idea why you would think a comment that started "to me it's important" and take the end of it as a broad generalization that applies to anybody but me.
Why attack me personally for stating my opinion?
You said it's up to the individual to decide value and in my situation it's not valuable at all. I have no high speed Internet so even if I bought one I couldn't use it due to the day one patch. Even then I don't watch cable so the cable features are out. All that's left after that is a weaker box that is more expensive than the competition.
Oh and there is kinect which I could really only ...
To me it's important.
When I get a next gen console I will be looking at which has more value for money. Less expensive and more powerful kinda says it all.
Not politics, people's tempers and assumptions are.
There is always room for a good conversation or debate over whether something is wrong, right or just plain offensive. The problem arises when people get mad about it or assumes that just because someone holds an opposite opinion that they are "trolling" them.
At that point thinks tend to explode and get emotional and sarcastic.
The sheer emotion you see in that birds face as he nears his demise as he falls close to hitting the floor and the relief as he makes through a close call between those pipes... it's amazing!
So the all in one console which touted it's multimedia functionality does no media better than a console $100 cheaper than itself? Ouch...
I'm sure software updates will improve media functionality of both consoles but I kinda expected xbox one to win on this front.
For me as an also older gamer (30) I think the focus on online gameplay has kind of lulled my love of gaming almost to sleep... I love to play a good single player story driven adventure. It's almost akin to reading a book only it's much more interactive and emotionally involved.
It depends how you measure success, I'm positive it will sell really high numbers just from hype but if it releases to terrible reviews and ends up a horrible game it will be a failure and no one will invest in a sequel.
Right? How can you possibly think a game like this has cheats and how can this be considered news worthy. For anyone having trouble with flappy bird I have one word for you.
practice.
Sony and Nintendo did work together... they made the playstation. When Sony split they had to rename their console the playstation x because nintendo own the rights to playstation. That's why the playstation controller is so similar to the snes controller.
And people think a blue ray player less xbox one is a good idea why?
Online media is about to get very expensive... come back to single player games
The end credits of a link to the past still give me chills and I believe started this trend in the zelda series. It really is nice to see how the people and places you helped have changed after you beat gannon. It's the reward.
My god this is amazing.
I'm 30 and have been having memory issues of late, the test for Alzheimer's (not a definitive test but a test for strong markers) requires a spinal tap to test spinal fluid and is not at all comfortable.
If I could have avoided the spinal headache for a week and just played a video game instead... well it would have been god send.
I sincerely hope this is successful

I'm not confused at all, I understand that the xbox division makes money and the only reason it hasn't made overall profit is because of the spending done to drive the console. Once the spending spree ends I'm sure the department will make its way into the black it has a sound business model.
My concern over the uncertainty of the xbox brand comes from the past rumors of microsoft potentially spinning off the division so it would have to ...
Unless of course they phase out sale of the current xbox one when the disk less version is released.
You are probably right to assume both sky's will be available but we don't know anything for sure until their is an official announcement.
Anything could happen. Good or bad.
No one is saying microsoft is in trouble. The xbox division of microsoft is another story entirely.
This is actually a good article and not at all what I expected to read.
I agree, people have some really nonsensical opinions of how video games effect people.
From comments that I am reading I gather that this 10% cache was reserved for kinect, if they knock it down to 2% does that mean that Microsoft are abandoning the kinect? Does it mean that a kinect less sku could actually be on the books?
I'm wondering what the cost is myself. Maybe it's kinect and maybe it isn't but it will be interesting to see how they squeeze this 8% out.
This is probably the smartest observation I have seen on here in a while. Bravo good sir.
